Ugh, shaving is such a bitch. Really discouraging. Can anyone recommend a good razor? I've been shaving for like, a week and a half, maybe two weeks and not even both my legs are full shaved. One almost is clean, the other kinda like 1/4. Also, pictures soon from me! I know I said that last time but I will try this time, haha!
thigh shaving is the WORST
Well that was sorta... suckish. My mom wanted me to replace a light bulb. And apparently, these particular bulbs can't be touched with fingers or they die. So she gave me this clear glove and she said, "Can you see if this fits? It's for women so it's probably not gonna fit on you."
What's that supposed to mean mom. :(
And yeah, it was a hard fit. ;_;
believe it or not, women often have smaller hands then men. So that's what she probably meant.
I get my eyebrows threaded. Extremely painful, but the results are worth it. Think of it as plucking your eyebrows, only doing about 30 times at once.
I love threading. I go to this one place regularly to do it and they know me now. :v:
[editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
Just did it a few days ago. I love the way my eyebrows look after.

I see your thigh shaving and raise you inner thigh epilating.
How does this work? Is this something that I have to do often and pay for it each time or something similar?
I get it done about once a month. It is usually about $5-$10. But the results are totally worth it, just prepare for a lot of pain.
What about waxing your testicles?
I'd love to see more before & after pictures of people. (I don't mind are they people from FP or just random)

I have one 3 months before hormones, and one 5 months after starting hormones. Doesn't look much different though. :v:
Feel free to post if you like. I just thought it was awesome to see stuff that has like two years in between and the change is so huge.
Clothes store clerks are huge assholes to me lately. When I'm with my male friends and dressed in obvious male clothes and looking through the DCs in the mens aisle, don't fucking redirect me to the section with the bright pink roxy shoes when I ask for a different size. Also don't call me by the female name on my mum's card that I use to pay for my male underwear just to let me know you can tell I'm a chick.
/rant, I'm sorry

Women have smaller hands and feet than men. That doesn't necessarily mean that you have man hands though. Most people don't even notice your hands, honestly. Unless they're bursting with hair and veins, they'll look just fine in the long run.

They might just be finding themselves in an uncomfortable situation where they don't know what to do. A lot of people seem to think that FtM trans people are the same as "butch" lesbians (I hate that term), and will be offended if called male.
And, I've only seen one picture of you, but you do look pretty masculine. I would recommend that you wear baggy pants, if you don't already. That can cover up the wide hips, according to my FtM friend.

Again, keep in mind that I've only been on hormones for 5 months.

Yeah, I know that most people aren't used to dealing with TG/queer people and they shouldn't be expected to, I was just pissed off at the dude with how condescending he was being.
I haven't posted any pictures of me, you're probably mistaking me for someone else. But thanks for the advice, I usually wear baggy trousers.

well i don't know, i have smaller hands and feet than my mom and at 186cm i'm like 10cm taller than her
it's mostly that she has huge hands and i have small hands i guess. but even though my feet are small in length and width, they're really high so some kinds of shoes are totally out of the question

Oh :v: Sorry, there aren't too many FtM people frequenting this thread, I must have grouped you together. My mistake.
I just know that the baggy clothes help a lot with hiding the curves. It makes you look a bit fat, but that's better than being seen as a gender you don't identify with.
appointment over.
- diagnosis
- carry letter so i can use female designated stuff
- i can get my gender on my photo id changed once i go full time
- prescription for spiro [100 mg]
- referral to endo so i can get estrogen
i think it went okay. i cried like halfway explaining why i felt this way.

"okay"
How can you say that.
Seriously, you complain for the entire thread "I'm never going to get it", you finally get it and you say it's "okay".
i also got a package with a ton of information regarding things like taking care of children among other things.
the endo is the one that decides when i get the estrogen, but since i dont have many medical issues i should be fine.
[editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
well, according to the information package they gave me i need one year of the RLT before i can get funding for SRS.
which means they might pay for it.
[editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
okay they pay for it
seriously
"oh my geez, i'm never going to get hrt woe is me"
then
"okay i got it whatevs i guess"
fuck i've been going to therapy for one year and three days and still no hrt and you haven't heard me complain until now
okay sorry for this i just had to let it out
nah dont be sorry i'm just being a complete retard.
nah dont be sorry i'm just being a complete retard.
Stop being cynical, start being appreciative.

Sigh, you do this too, if you are going to complain or say your opinion at least have the courage to stick by it, I know you don't want a shitstorm but c'mon don't sit there putting your self down, Christ.
*ahem*
I've been waiting over half a year for just some serious appointments only.
Now I'm not a regulare here, however, I'm just letting you all know that you should appreciate certain things, and especially things like this. It's more of a gift than you may think.

Oh hello Tools~
Shaved my leg. Yes, just one leg.
I either confirmed that
1) Double edge razor is too sharp for shaving legs.
2) I can't shave.
Either way, so much blood.

well, i have a knack for starting shitstorms so it's preferable i defuse it as quickly as possible.

i am, do you know how much i was shaking in excitement when he handed me the prescription + letter?
I've been waiting two years for hormones. I wish it was as easy as going to a doctor and getting a prescription here.
Anyway, genericbathroomphoto.jpg:

WHY MUST LEGS BE SO HAIRY?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=epilator&x=0&y=0
What to buy.
Don't razors make your hair grow back stronger and darker? Most cis girls I know avoid them, and I've heard of FtMs shaving their face with razors to try and get noticeable facial hair.

That is false.
[editline]9th April 2012[/editline]
Been naked for like 20min just stroking my leg. I think I should put something on. Sigh. I need to go buy some girl clothes, I have to try it sooner or later.
