I've been waiting over half a year for just some serious appointments only.
Now I'm not a regulare here, however, I'm just letting you all know that you should appreciate certain things, and especially things like this. It's more of a gift than you may think.
Courage would be a gift in itself, honestly
Don't razors make your hair grow back stronger and darker? Most cis girls I know avoid them, and I've heard of FtMs shaving their face with razors to try and get noticeable facial hair.
That statement is pretty false from my experience.
They do grow back stronger and darker, temporarily, until they grow back over half the length they originally were before shaving.
It just feels like they grow back stronger, because just a while ago you didn't have any so it seems like it.
Also, I'm serious, which one to buy? Just grab a cheap 30£ one and will it be fine? I know nothing about these.
I've been waiting two years for hormones. I wish it was as easy as going to a doctor and getting a prescription here.

It's all from Hot Topic :v: My girlfriend works there, so I get 20% off everything in the store. It's radical-tastic.
god dammit you're so skinny too.
I work out and I'm forced to eat completely organic due to liver problems. So yeah, I'm generally pretty healthy. I don't ever get to have candy or junk food though. I haven't had ice cream in 7 years.
I haven't had ice cream in 7 years.
Oh wow. Poor thing. D:
Ice cream isn't that great anyway.
i don't really like it, or junk food for that matter
Hey guys!
I'm writing an article about the definitions of gender and sex, and about creating a more modern, universal definition of gender.
Do you guys think you'd have anything to contribute, as members or enthusiast (I have no idea how to put that any other way) of the transgender/transvestite community? In regards to the definition of gender, that is?
It's all from Hot Topic :v: My girlfriend works there, so I get 20% off everything in the store. It's radical-tastic.
Nice. Not much of a hot topic fan, but hey, those clothes look awesome on you.
Also brb 1,000 sit ups.

gender is essentially what you identify as.
sex is what you have down there/your chromosomes.
at least thats what i know
The general consensus among the scientific/psychological community seems to define gender as: "the socially constructed roles, behaviours, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for men and women.", OR
"the behavioral, cultural, or psychological traits typically associated with one sex"
However, to me these feel almost entirely exclusive of members of the transgender/transsexual/transvestite community because they stick to the supposedly "assigned" genders/sexes. Hell, the first one I got from the World Health Organization, the supposed world health authority.
I need to get myself a proper mirror to take pictures of myself. Also girl clothes. Fuck not being able to dress pretty, I'm going to crossdress some day.
Also, make up and bras. I'm going to make this happen.

Sex isn't necessarily defined as chromosomal. It's more the scientific definition of the role one plays in a species. And gender is the societal/cultural role.

I don't have very girly legs Q_Q
Chris220, I look forward to see you in them again soon ;)
And remember that our psyche is controlled mostly by hormones. If someone feels more effeminate than virile, hormones got a role in that, and you can't just fight your nature when it comes to hormones.

Seconded :P
Hey everyone do try to be a bit lighter on Horizon, I was talking with her early over Steam, and she really was jumpingly excited and happy about getting diagnosed, just she doesn't translate it well to text. Although she does need to learn to be a little less cynical >.>

Thirded :D
Hey everyone I have a question about hormone pills.
Can I just take them slightly, just for a slightly feminine look without growing breasts?
