You could come to some nice British towns around London, rather than just London itself, y'know.
Come to Reading and you can see me every day. :buddy:

Go to Edinburgh.
Don't go to london, it's so much more expensive than anywhere else in the UK. Manchester or Leeds are your best bet
Isle of Man Show some love for the little guy.
Go to London and torch it, it's a shithole and no one cares about it.
You'll most likely like London or one of the other big cities the most. Devon and Cornwall have interesting scenery though.
London has this awesome Wax museum, Madam Tussauds, i recommend that.
Newcastle.
Go to Reading, its like the cheaper version of London and I live here :3
So I have some spare cash, and a lot of free time and I've been wanting to travel. United Kingdom is a place I've always wanted to visit and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions or tips for me. I was thinking of going to London (according to Facepunch.) if not, either: Manchester, Reading or Leeds. What do you guys think?
Are you from the US?
come to Coventry if you want to see little india
That's Lecister mate
Come to Cambridge.. we have..schools? and awesome street performers. Yesterday I saw a man tightrope walking playing a violin between two trees, like 5 street magicians (one pulled a melon out of a top hat :smug:) and a man in a space suit costume singing and playing the keyboard.. I never give them any money though

London has alot of tourist attractions which are pretty cool. living in the UK is easy just go to london and have a good time.
Goto the channel islands http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Islands Its almost the UK English speaking and not french
Like america, You'll get a different experience wherever you go in Britain. If you want to get the full experience travel around. Start in London then go north to Birmingham to get a feel for the cities of Britain. then go west into wales to see the mountains etc and to relax. Then go east again back into england and GO TO LIVERPOOL. It's by far my favorite city here. Then you should head north to cities like Leeds for a more northern experience of living here. Then it's your choice whether to travel for hours north into Scotland or back south to London. It depends on what kind of holiday you want really.
Go to Camden Market and Covent Garden
Glasgow, it's nice and wet here
I find it awesome the way you've been wanting to travel to the UK. I've heard no other person say that before.
Do not go to Birmingham, you will be the only white guy there. I am serious there is like 1 white person for every 1000 black people! If you do decide to come to the UK don't crack any jokes, I along with every british person I know do not find american comedy funny and vice versa for us. Just get drunk, act like a tit and in the morning blame the booze that is how we get along.
Go to Bristol. Massive Attack come from Bristol. So does Bill Bailey, kinda', and Banksy. And it has the @Bristol science center thing. Not that I actually live in Bristol, it's just the closest *interesting* city to where I live :P Oh and on the other side of me is the Wye Valley. You won't find many interesting city-slicker things to do there, but it's got a purdy landscape. Trees and... valleys. Then there's South Wales, which has Cardiff. Apparently Cardiff's cool. Considering most of our cheesy national BBC dramas get filmed there (namely Doctor Who and Torchwood... so many Daleks with the Caerdydd twang) it's meant to have some cool landmarks. Also one of the routes outta Cardiff is this mountain road which looks awesome in winter and is a treacherous drive but great when you're driving at night listening to Godspeed You Black Emperor and if there was some way of doing it I'd be making my text go smaller and smaller as I realize I'm talking utter shite about bollocks and rambling terribly...
If you go to london make sure you get an Oyster card from a tube station. Go into one and ask the guy behind the ticket office. it will cost you £3 and you will need to top it up which is pretty easy to do and will save you a fucking shit-load of money. A friend of mine came over from the states and ended up spending about £30 in one week on public transport. But london is a fantastic place to go to. (i live here for you information) Try to not go to the famous places like oxford street and such or you will be lost in a sea of people and other tourists. Go to places like camden. hope ive been of some help.
Come to Thetford, get stabbed! Or almost any part of Norfolk actually. Heh.
Goto the channel islands http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Islands Its almost the UK English speaking and not french
DO NOT GO TO THE CHANNEL ISLANDS. They're boring as fuck especially Alderney.
Oh fuck off Manchester isn't a bad place
if you want to go to the north go to cumbria everywhere else is shit for tourists especially yorkshire.
