Just read Katawa Shoujo, the 3 first harry potter books and the hunger games
I had some free time yesterday, so I read the story "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" by Harlan Ellison. I don't know how to feel.

[t]http://brentcolby.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Outliers.jpg[/t] Required reading for freshmen at my college It's damn good.
200 pages well worth my time.
Recently read it for a school project. I have to say I really liked it, I don't think I've ever been that eager to continue reading a book. Then again, I don't read much.
I have a weird and mixed taste. S'all right. It's about some griffon dude with the most ridiculous name possible. "Skandranon Rashkae" Best book I've ever read hands down. Shadow Over Innsmouth is brilliant and I'm reading it again for the millionth time.
"Skandranon Rashkae"
Don't get this one as an audiobook.
Don't get this one as an audiobook.
Every single fucking name is some weird ass shit. All of them. I even mix them up half the time. It's terrible. The lore is really interesting and I want to keep reading, but what the fuck is up with these names? Skandranon Rashkae Kestra'chern Amberdrake Kiyamvir Ma'ar
Recently read it for a school project.
Is it a book based on the Stalker games?
it's the other way around.
it's the other way around.
Heh, I actually wanted to mean that. Fuck my brain.
Shadow Over Innsmouth is brilliant and I'm reading it again for the millionth time.
Call of Cthulhu is my favorite but my second would be The Rats in the Walls. If you haven't read that one I highly recommend it. Try to find it unedited. The reason it might be edited is because it was in the 20's and the main character owns a black called and it's name is N****rman.
Is it a book based on the Stalker games?
These are. Take place after the events of C.o.P. I'm gonna pick up some Lovecraft soon.
The reason it might be edited is because it was in the 20's and the main character owns a black called and it's name is N****rman.
I actually have the book he shown in the screenshot and it is unedited. And yes the black cat is called....well "n word"man [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline] Everyone was racist back then so... personally my favourite is The Dunwhich Horror
Truly brilliant stuff.

Such a goddamned good story. [editline]3rd July 2013[/editline]
Everyone was racist back then so...
Lovecraft was actually incredibly xenophobic. I'm not sure how he felt about black people, but I know he was terrified of the Irish and Russians. You can really see all this in A Shadow Over Innsmouth. I always found it brilliant how Lovecraft channeled his phobias into these stories. It's like seeing the world from a completely different point of view. Also this is a great watch if you have a little over an hour and a half. It really brings insight into his life and why his stories are so fucked up. Be warned though, it does have spoilers for some of his stories I think, so watch out.
