Not exactly entirely related to quantum physics, but seems like the best place to say this. In chem today we were discussing Le Chatelier's principle (which we've done before in high school, but that's first year uni for you) and the lecturer was going on about how 'the system responds to partially oppose the change imposed upon it' (which we're all already well aware of): but then it hit me, how convenient it all was. When you do something to a system, the universe does its damn best to undo what you did. The universe hates us humans. It's like, "fuck you! You increased the pressure? WELL I'LL JUST DECREASE IT AGAIN BY MOVING THE REACTION TO THE SIDE WITH THE LEAST NUMBER OF MOLES, YOU STUPID FUCK!" The universe hates us all :saddowns:
