I don't mind if you openly admit to preferring Macs but there is such a thing as a 'cockmongling fanboy'.
Kind of exactly like this.
And that's why he is a cunt who can't draw properly.
because he prefers macs? that makes no sense.
and it's not that Dobson can't draw, it's that he's mediocre as fuck for someone who's been to art school

So why do Macs have help forums?

I prefer PC's, do I go about writing obnoxious comics about them?
I don't care what system he uses but when he makes a bias comic about them it's just stupid

On my MacBook that I did not drop or hit even once the touchpad and the battery broke, it overheated like a bitch, a CD got stuck in the drive, and the screen backlight was dying.

Here's the way I look at it.
There are three types of users:
The beginners, who know enough to get on Facebook and Youtube, plug in a USB drive, etc. Your mother is likely in this group.
The intermediate users, who know how to do all the configuration stuff, can reinstall from scratch or build a computer from parts. You are likely in this group.
The expert users, who can do fucking anything. They generally prefer the command line, and can do pretty much anything that can actually be done. It's quite possible that they could build a computer from basic components, or program one from bare metal.
The three most popular operating systems meet the needs of two of those groups, but each excludes a third (there are numerous other OSes that serve only one group, and are generally niche products).
Windows serves the beginner and intermediate users. Granny can use it. You can use it. But it has limits - rather high limits, at least since Win2K, but still limits.
Linux serves the intermediate and expert users. You can't put a complete n00b in front of it and have it work. It gives you the rope to hang yourself and a gun to shoot yourself in the foot. But if you know what you're doing, it can do pretty amazing things, and it's often a few years ahead of the curve on things.
Mac serves the beginner, and the expert, but there is no in-between. If all you touch is the GUI, it's a great, user-friendly OS. If you have the skills, it has all the power of Unix under the hood, waiting to be unleashed (fun fact: Randall Munroe, aka "XKCD Guy", uses a Mac). But there is no in-between. If you want to, say, disable the "this file was downloaded from the internet, are you sure you want to run it?" prompt, your *only* option is to go into the command line and enter a cryptic command to change a hidden configuration value (think "Windows Registry" and you're about there).
And, of course, obsessive fanboys of *each* of them are annoying and stupid. I would know - I used to be one. But now, I use all three on a near-daily basis. Each has strengths, but each has weaknesses, and you'd be a fool to try to deny that.
