Multiple tornadoes touched down RIGHT BY MY GIRLFRIEND'S HOUSE and I can't get messages or a phone call through and I'm freaking the fuck out. [editline]Relief[/editline] She's in her shelter, but her phone is dead so she used her mom's phone to tell me she's safe. I'm still shaking though.
TIME TO HIT THE BASEMENT!
Don't have one. Fortunately though the worst thing that happened was the window shaking slightly and it getting really wet, and we live at the top of a hill so w/e on that last part.
Mom's out and there's tornado sirens going off.
I forget you live in Oklahoma all the time even though I attempted to meet you at a contest.
I forget you live in Oklahoma all the time even though I attempted to meet you at a contest.
Same. I came back to this thread to make that post I just made and went "oh shit right he's not too far away from here"
I seriously hope this cough + slight decongestion is gone by tomorrow. I was excited for Spring Break (this week) because I wanted to spend time with my girlfriend for a whole week. However, I got the flu last Saturday and, although it's gone, a cold took its place a few days ago. Now I'm just about over it, but I want to be completely sure as to not get her sick. It sucks that I can spend only a few days with her now, but, Summer is nearing (~3 weeks), so that's something to look forward to!
I'm sick with something but I can't miss anymore school days to go to the doctor.
Getting really sick of my sister's shit. Never mind the younger-sibling favouritism, but I really fucking hate how high and mighty she acts around literally everybody. She goes around talking like she has authority over people, and because she's so oversensitive to things, my parents are less likely to yell at her than they are to me. Every time I try to tell my parents that she's acting like a twat, it devolves into a shouting match between me and her and my parents just end it with a "just don't do it, k?"-type attitude that gets nowhere. I don't care if it's a teenage rebellion thing, or a that-time-of-the-month thing, I was never ever under any circumstances anywhere near that rude to my family. But oh no, she can get away with calling me stupid all the time, calling my mum a bitch and giving the finger to people from around the corner with little more than a "Don't do that, it's rude". I guess it's okay though because she's improving her grades, which is great considering she got thrown in the classes for people with crippling LDs or severely inhibiting mental disorders because she was too fucking lazy to do her homework in middle school and we live in the no-fail generation. (Don't take that last sentence as being offensive to disabled people; these are literally the classes those people end up in). I know I'm ranting about it's not fair and life in general is really not fair, but that doesn't stop it from being less annoying. Can't wait until I'm working 16+ hour days all week on film sets so I don't have to be around her for half the year.
I'm not a huge fan of the heat in the South. I mean, shit, it's already somewhat uncomfortably hot here in spring.
Power went out twice for about a minute, although the first time it fluctuated a bit before going out. There wasn't even storms nowhere near, but at least I've got a backup on my computer.
Having the ability to make stuff, but not the assets to actually make it.
I'm going to get some bloodwork done tomorrow to see if I have celiac disease. ughh.
these spam telephone calls are taking the piss, no I don't want your cheap apartments you're selling for a fifth of their quoted price, bother somebody else, chrissake.
I got a nasty splinter like a month ago and I swear theres a piece of wood stuck on the palm of my hand. it doesn't hurt, but there's a distinct bump there where I got hurt. I thought I got all of it out but I guess not.
how come every animal companion in kids movies are dogs? The horse in tangled is a dog, the reindeer in frozen is a dog.
How it seems to me after studying American history and all that shit, and, fuck, just reading the news, 'small government' seems to be missing a ', big business' because they seem to be pulling way too much fucking control in government. Which is to say, any, but fuckloads isn't great either. It's frustrating living in a world full of corrupt or just plain fucking stupid bullshit and not really being able to change or have any say in it. I keep thinking these days that Carlin might be right. Maybe it is best to just view it in a detached way and enjoy the show.
how come every animal companion in kids movies are dogs? The horse in tangled is a dog, the reindeer in frozen is a dog.
What are you talking about? They are a Horse and a Reindeer. Are you saying they have Dog aspects? What do you class as that? The Chameleon in Tangled is a Chameleon. The Monkey in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is clearly a Monkey. Now my mind has gone blank on animated films but im sure theres more.
Exams are coming up and I couldn't give a shit. Hating university at the moment, although I am doing well so it'd be a shame to give up now. I just don't think I have the resolve anymore :(.
dogs are cliche i got ferrets :^)
It's all about the Red Pandas
In my fathers mind there seems to only be two types of hair Less than two centimeters is short, anything above is long Saying "I would like longer hair" to him oddly means "I would like my hair to be shoulder long"
And India lost. again. Somehow given their perfect record I'm surprised they stuffed up so badly. Too many runs given away at the death. :/
*3DS Max stuff*
Might I also recommend upgrading to 2015 version? It's just better in general. If you're in education you can get it for free. Being a student and all that. Unless there's a reason why you're using 3dsMax 2012.

Usually if it seems like everyone's being unfair and a dick to you then it's because of something you're not seeing, it's not like everyone's being a dick for no reason
A shout out to all those dudes from age 16-30 who think that buying a $200 car and screeching their tires and revving their engine real hard every time they go into a parking lot makes them cool, all the while screaming at people who think otherwise by calling them pussies who can't "handle" their car and how awesome it is. You are the definition of a fucking manchild. Extra brownie points if they blare shit rap through their new bass boost speakers that cost them more than the car did.
We have similar people over her, they generally have massive subwoofers going "boom boom boom" while driving cars lowered so much you can see the sparks at a distance
I sure love it when depression and cumulative pressure causes you to collapse into tears in front of a teacher ahah aha h
Going over World War 2 in class Not a single person said Japan did not deserve the two atomic bombs
Going over World War 2 in class Not a single person said Japan did not deserve the two atomic bombs
Honestly I think it depends on how you look at a conflict. The humanitarian side of me agrees that it was wrong to reduce them to radioactive ash; but the chest thumping and rather proud imperialist in me is applauding there use instead of the cluster fuck that would have been operation Downfall. In the end we could have went a step further since a good portion of Americans at the time apparently were willing to go soviet extermination on their asses. I think building them back up (other then population) is the best thing that has happened to their (at least from my learning) historically isolated island nation. Err...sorry for wall of text I enjoy reading about our exploits as a nation no matter how much douchebaggery was involved (its needed if you want to be powerful imho). Ontopic:we were going over cancer today in bio lecture and the way the prof. described it made me thing dead space and cringe for the entire lecture.
I always see the "imagine how many more would have died if not for the bombs" Yeah, soldiers, people that chose to be there even when faced with the possibility of death The people killed on the nuclear blasts were civilians that had nothing to do with the war.
Dude, you really have issues with your sister. Why don't you talk to her and work them out/get to understand why she acts like that instead of ranting about it on here? Your siblings should be one of your closest family members.
I know I really should, and I've tried to do it several times before. The problem is that it's like talking to a brick wall. It's either "I didn't do that shut up you fucking douchebag" or "oh my god your so sensitive get over it you fucking douchebag" She 14 by the way. Bloody hell.
