Made these bottles of skittle vodka about a month ago, time to post pictures
what is that and how do you make it
what is that and how do you make it
Skittles vodka of different flavours. Step 1) Buy lots of skittles and lots of vodka. Step 2) Separate out the different colours of skittles and split up your vodka into roughly equal amounts depending on how many colours you want to make. Step 3) Add a single colour of skittles to one of the bottles of vodka, about 20-25 for 350ml of vodka but if there's more skittles it doesn't really matter. Step 4) Shake it a bit and then leave the bottle over a night, maybe even two. Step 5) Strain out all the disgusting bits from the vodka using some kitchen paper (or apparently you can use a coffee filter or old t-shirt or something). Step 6) DRINK Optional Step) Suck on the filter/tissue you used to filter off all the crap. You will get a big hit of skittle flavour followed by the taste of vodka. It's also funny to get people to do it when they don't expect the vodka. Repeat this for the different colours that you want. It's not advisable to mix the colours as one of my mates tried making skittles vodka with ALL the colours and without filtering it. It was like drinking very sweet varnish. Me and my sister made loads of different kinds of flavoured sweet vodka. We did all the skittle flavours, pear drops (AMAZING) and even tried Refreshers. I didn't get to taste the last one but apparently it was really good. You can also apparently make weird flavours like bacon vodka and mars bar vodka but I haven't tried those yet. And also if you try to make vodka out of big sweets, make sure you crush them up so they dissolve faster.

I also only used 4 small bags of skittles, its all I could get, and three 70cl bottles of vodka, there is still some left. The best flavours are the red, purple and yellow, the green and orange aren't as nice. Serve chilled, drink on the rocks, as shots or with sprite for the full flavour.

The stuff I have is pretty thick and if you're gentle then it gets most of it. The skittles vodka I make always comes out coloured but transparent when I filter using kitchen paper and when I tried it with a t-shirt, it basically went back to looking like vodka. Also eucalyptus vodka could work. Just about anything with a flavour will work provided it's slightly soluble. Although the less soluble/prominent the flavourings, the longer you will have to leave the vodka to infuse. I recommend everyone experiment. Go down to your local wholesaler, buy a shitload of ultra cheap vodka and a huge box of sweets and other foodstuffs and just go crazy. You might end up wasting some money but you might hit a goldmine of delicious beverage.
Vodka has a pretty high alcohol content. Seeing as ethanol is pretty polar anything that's slightly soluble should work pretty well. Eucalyptus is an oil though, so that mightn't work as well as other stuff.
I haven't been able to look at vodka for a couple years now but I might give this a shot, looks entertaining. It's a bitch to find decent vodka here though, I dunno if it's the same everywhere else but here the shittier the vodka the more expensive it is. Shit's just bizarre.
I have heard good things about Kraken Spiced Rum, anyone else have good things to say about it?
definitely, that stuff is lush another good rum is sailor jerrys

Remember to mix with something with a natural base flavour like lemonade and that you shouldn't mix the vodkas, they will taste like shit together.
I now know why people have opinions on tequila.
I now know why people have opinions on tequila.
Quality tequila is not easy to find. Usually it's the cheap piss that gets served in bars and liquor stores. You gotta order it online if you want quality like El Jimador, Patrón, Espolon or Los tres tonos. Atleast here where I live. You should always steer clear of names such as Sierra and Sauza. They're just piss in a bottle.
As in because there's a lot of alcohol at once but without the burn down your throat associated with a decent amount of other spirits. Also because I had a fun night, to say the least. Coincidentally, I currently can't feel my cheeks.
I used to drink Bacardi 151 straight because I'm retarded and because its easy to get drunk off it. Don't do it anymore for obvious reasons.
I did this exact thing. Really don't do it. I fell asleep in the basement and then awoke in the living room. That shit makes you teleport man.
Isn't this section better for this topic?
I now know why people have opinions on tequila.
What is this tequila you speak of? Oh you meant the devil's water...
I enjoy Red Wine, German Beer, and Weed with my evenings. Quit drinking for a bit since just had hernia surgery.
Has anyone tried absinthe before?

[T]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_20111217_203351_1.jpg[/T] Got enough of them to make a 2,5L batch of each Skittles flavor. [editline]17th December 2011[/editline]
Has anyone tried absinthe before?
Got a bottle, but I'm actually kinda afraid of it. Guess that's a good thing since it's around 70% pure alcohol.

I don't particularly like drinking all that often except with friends occasionally, but I really would like to try mead. Anyone know anything about that?
brb flying to Van-man's
You better not touch my booze. I have enough trouble keeping my parents and my brother away from it.
I'm not much of a drinker but last night I discovered that bulmers with crushed red berries and lime it's awesome
fosters taste like shit but get you drunk tho
Has anyone tried absinthe before?
I've never tried it 'properly' with sugar but I've done shots of the stuff before, although I doubt it was in the realm of the 70%, probably closer to 40/50%. It was nice but just tasted of aniseed.
i don't even want to imagine snus and alcohol together.
No booze. For a month. Pity me ye gods of inebriation and bless me. [editline]18th December 2011[/editline] I actually want to dive into the realm of arabic alcohol. The arabic pallet is not accustomed to bitter so I might find it more to my liking.
