Strawberry skittle vodka tastes the best in my opinion, the green is dissapointing, the yellow tastes alot like limoncello, purple is a nice flavour, orange is kind of strange, a bit bitter.
Yeah, that's why I'm kinda disappointed by how few there were of the Strawberry flavored one's.
And I just checked up on Limoncello, gotta try and make some of that myself when I have more spare time.
That and learn how to make a great strawberry liqueur, since I know where to get fresh and good quality strawberries for cheap in the summer.
imo beers with over 6% alcohol is shit, the more alcohol the more bitter taste

i'm not really a beer fan but i tried a few different ales last night which were quite pleasant.
i had some of this that my friend ordered and had a couple of sips - quite pleasant and a little bit nondescript.

then i had a couple of sips of this one as well which was bizarre but interesting

Not really. Try some Belgian beers, especially the darker ones.

Duvel for example, a fine beer.

Nice haul Fragmatic. I just picked up a lovely bottle of absolut 100 proof :)
You know I never thought there was an incredibly deep side to beer.
Oh well. Blame the media and general perception for making it look like pisswater.

It's the same with some genre's of music, with shitty artists who crank out generic songs like it's factory work.
While there's a small group of dedicated people who tries their best at making great songs.
Same can easily be said about beer.
Any Brewdog shareholders in this here thread? I just got my card confirmation in the mail earlier this week

No, bitterness is more to do with hopping. Besides, beer only starts to get interesting above 5% anyway

I've only tried Kernel's IPA. How much was the haul? And where is the brewery?
All I want for Christmas is to be 21
Any Brewdog shareholders in this here thread? I just got my card confirmation in the mail earlier this week
Aye. Only the basic super cheap option. The only reason I invested was because I had some premium bonds money floating around. I really don't like the way they run themselves as a business, a total shambles.
No, bitterness is more to do with hopping. Besides, beer only starts to get interesting above 5% anyway
That's debateable, try these on for size -
Redemption Brewing Trinity (3.0%ABV, from Tottenham of all places)
Oakham Ales Citra (4.2%ABV, Peterborough)
Both examples of exceptionally hoppy beers at low ABV's. Trinity is rediculously drinkable.
I've only tried Kernel's IPA. How much was the haul? And where is the brewery?
Which IPA? They have a TON with different hops. Where did you have it?
That lot cost me £30, the growler fill cost around £20. Well worth it, I'll gladly pay for good beer.
The brewery is located just off druid street (official address is 98 druid street, visitors address is 1 ropewalk, which is off millstream road. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from London Bridge station.
Yay TNP. It's interesting. It's basically a distilled stout, so amplified a million times
Very unique taste, and such a sticky, sweet finish. It lingers for a while in your mouth.

Do you have to shot it or just drink it extremely slowly?
I'm a big fan of dark rum, kraken being one of my favourites.
I ocassionally brew my own beer/cider/ginger beer when I have the time.
Do you have to shot it or just drink it extremely slowly?
You could shoot it, but it'd be a waste of a unique beer. I took it slow.
Picked up a lil bottle of this shit earlier.

I have been wanting to try absinthe and finally picked some up.
Tastes like liquorish

I thought real absinthe was 70%.
Now I love cinnamon. As in FUCKING LOVE cinnamon.
Would anyone be so kind as to point out some strong cinnamon liquor (liquers are fine too) for me to indulge in.
I had some Tia Maria earlier in the day, now I've had two bottles of beer and i'm feeling it big time.I feel like such a lightweight.
Might grab another beer actually

I'm gonna feel this tomorrow
Few days ago a friend of mine celebrated his birthday. We played some drinking games with shots.
We had shots of martini, goldstrike, kleiner feigling, vodka (which tasted like piss), tequila, malibu and some other stuff. Afterwards we played "Kings" with beer.
That cocktail made me puke like a crazy.

My friend gave me a cocktail once that made me puke, worst part is I don't even remember drinking it
That is bad.
I think that just the mix between all those shots and beer is killing me. We drank tons of those shots and later on few liters beer. Your stomach just goes apeshit.
i drank a quarter bottle of absinthe and i was sober
fucking lightweights
You are really tough!
Does everyone like me have a difference in between 'drinks you drink when you go out' and 'drinks you drink when you want a drink at home'. Like, lately I've been fancying myself a bit of a posh drinker, sipping things like wine and port when I'm at home (this stemmed from my want to bang a posh girl like Big Suze off of Peep Show - I'm pretty working class myself) but then when I go out it's shots and lagers for predrinking and when you're just sitting down in the club / at the pub, and some cheap alcopop for the dancefloor. Lately I'm a big fan of tequila when I'm out, it gets me absolutely rendered and I think it tastes all right, I don't see what everyone's problem is with it.

Well, you don't see a lot of people in a club on the dancefloor with some Pinot Noire anyway :v:
Tequila is horrible. Tastes like shit and absolutely kills my mind and my stomach.

I get drunk faster at home, but I drink the same stuff. Whatever beer is in the fridge.
[editline]23rd December 2011[/editline]
If I want to get drunk in a rush, vodka is the way to go
I'll contribute to the stories, I remember over the Summer I went to a party out of town wearing a hoodie, a zeppelin tee-shirt and black jeans. The next morning I woke up on the floor with no shirt under my hoodie and blue jeans on. I never did find my pants or tee-shirt.
Got a bottle, but I'm actually kinda afraid of it.
Guess that's a good thing since it's around 70% pure alcohol.
It isn't 70% when you do it properly. I'm no expert, but a glass of absinthe made the proper way consists of 70% of water so I wouldn't think it's 70% when made that way.
Straight from the bottle it sure is 70%.
I don't know, it's just a guess.

I like beer when I'm kicking back at home with friends. I also like dark beer or wine with certain foods. However at parties I like whiskey, tequila, and other dark spirits. When I'm at a party it is more to get fairly fucked up in a short amount of time and have fun, rather than chill and slowly become inebriated at home.
heh, vodka and red bull is amazing
jager best drink
