Something that is true, and not myth or fabricated.
Found some for you. I present Victorian post mortem portraiture.
A creepy little aspect of victorian living. It was a popular way of
remembering the deceased. Since sitting for a photo was cheaper
than sitting for a painted portrait, more families could afford it.
Often the subject is a child due to the very high infant mortality
rate in the victorian era and a memento mori might be infact, the
only photograph of the child that a family may ever have.. which is
quite sad really.
The photos usually tried to depict life by adding rouge to cheeks,
painting on pupils on the photo or having the corpses posed as if
in light slumber. Rarely were the subjects pictured in their coffins
in the beginning; however, later on less effort was put into the
charade and photos of the corpses in coffins became more common
place.

Been on this for like 3-4 minutes now, sounds starting to loop, christ.
Got to winter now.
Meh, stopped it now. It's just weird things happening to try and scare you.
Here's something:
My mum is afraid to stay in hotels on her own, she wakes up randomly in the early hours and see people standing in her shoes, just standing and staring at her. She also wakes up to a strange man in a Parker jacket leaning over her. It terrifies the hell out of her.
My brothers friends night terrors:
My brother was once telling me about how his friend has extremely scary night terrors, He would wake up(or seem to wake up) in the middle of the night and look at the wardrobe and the end of his bed, then the doors of the wardrobe open and an very old lady steps out, whilst doing this she stares him right in the eyes, she makes her way over the end of his bed and starts crawling towards him, at this point he is unable to move or scream, the lady crawls right up to his face and few seconds lady she disappears and he wakes up screaming in terror. This is a true story and he suffered with this for a long time, it still happens to this day but he has learnt to deal with it.
I once wokeup from having a very bad nightmare to find my silver necklace and bracelet in neat little piles. I don't know how I managed to take them off when asleep as I struggle to get them off when I'm awake. I was about 13 years old then and it scared the hell out of my and I thought it was something to do with the devil D:
The mind is a strange thing. It can do even stranger things. Being half-awake can cause weird things, especially if you emerge from a dream. And sometimes it's a dream within a dream, so you haven't really woken up yet.
I found a trailer for a movie that I think you guys would like. It brings something new to the shaky cam genre.

tl;dr a bunch of people die in a car crash and gradually realize that they are in a reality-based purgatory
That trailer is so plot-revealing that spoiler tags are pointless
I'm looking for that short horror clip where some youths in England or somewhere go driving on a country road and they keep going in circles, and then the radio starts looping the same audio clip over and over.

I'm hoping some good Skyrim Creepypasta comes out soon; I absolutely loved the one on the creepy mod in Morrowind. I'd write one but I don't have a start or an angle.

[release]In Corona, California there once was a road known by most locals as the Never Ending Road. Specifically, the road’s true name was Lester Road. Now, over twenty years later, the landscape of Corona has changed, and the Never Ending Road is no more. However, years ago, Lester Road was an unlit road that people claimed became a never ending road when driven at night. The people who made such a drive were never seen or heard from again.
The legend became so well-known that people refused to even drive Lester Road during the day. One night, like many teens my age, I drove up Lester Road, but only a short distance, and in my headlights it did look like it went on forever. Frightened, I quickly turned around, because if I continued up the road, I thought I might never return again.
Perpetuation of the legend convinced local law enforcement to investigate. Lester Road took a sharp left turn at its end, and there were no guard rails. Beyond the curve lay a canyon, and on the other side of the canyon was another road that lined up so well with Lester Road that when viewed from the correct angle, especially at night, the canyon vanished from sight, and the road seemed to continue on up and over the hill on the other side of the canyon. Upon investigation of the canyon, dozens of cars were found, fallen to their doom, with the decomposing bodies of the victims still strapped to their seats.[/release]
here's a short creepypasta:
You are home alone, and you hear on the news about the profile of a murderer who is on the loose. You look out the sliding glass doors to your backyard, and you notice a man standing out in the snow. He fits the profile of the murderer exactly, and he is smiling at you.
You gulp, picking up the phone to your right and dialing 911. You look back out the glass as you press the phone to your ear, and notice he is much closer to you now.
You then drop the phone in shock. There are no footprints in the snow.
It’s his reflection.
Wow, for a second there i missed the feeling of shitting my pants.
