Only good part was the action scenes, the plot was pretty bad.
Everyone one is different, it's mostly opinion, the reason so many can agree it was bad is probably because it had lots of bad things going for it. I personally didn't see it, 'cause I could smell the "s**t" from outside the theater. But if we where to dissect this movie in Film class it would get destroyed. (or on Red Letter Media) Think of it this way, everyone that watches a movie love different part of it more then others, story, characters, atmosphere, etc. Some need more to be pleased. Transformers 2 fails to please many people on many levels, thus many agree it being crap. ... and seriously...... so many movies are diamonds compared to MBay Transformers. For the record I liked the first movie so-so during the first half. After it was shit till the end. ESPECIALLY hate the part where Bumble bee Pees on someone. ... Golden shower Michael Bay? grosse.
Comedic relief, ruining movies for 30 years and counting.
I was high out of my mind when I watched it. It seemed pretty awesome in the beginning, and I was having a great time. ...until the effects of what I had smoked started to wear off. Quite possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
I loved transformers 2. I love Megan Fox's ass :D
Have a homo-bow.
Bandwagon? First was great.
FP needs to start banning for accusations of bandwagoning. Every single time a large number of people agree on something somebody starts accusing people of it.
I have yet to see transformers 2. I'll probably end up watching it on a plane on a tiny screen.
Save yourself the pain and look out the window for your in flight entertainment.

The orange and teal/blue cinematography was pretty annoying. As a Transformer man i have to say this film to a non-fan was a pile of shit. To me i thought it was like a direct To DVD type movie.
It almost seems like every decision that got put into these films was the wrong one. All the writing, acting, characters, storyline, every decision was one for the worse. Except for the speshul effects, those were freakin awesome. The bit that made me lose it with Transformers 2 was the robo heaven, I just burst out laughing it was just so Bay.
the sound and cgi were fucking godly but the rest = bleh
Well least is isn't as bad as the Cybertron series...What the hell since when was Megatron able to collect a helmet and unleash anime type Final Fanasty Dragon Ball Z powers.
The two "black" robots were almost as bad as Jar Jar Binks.
Jar Jar Binks was hilarious
stuff i agree with Y'know what Bay should direct? The Halo movie. That's the perfect film for him. Generic un-ironic solemn army worship against under-characterized alien bad guys with only slightly more characterized military badasses blowing them up in space armor. I'm sure he'd LOVE doing it, and Halo fans would eat it up. And the rest of us can watch it make inevitable millions while critics pan it and laugh at these douchebags. But at the very least, it'll keep Bay busy for a while doing something nobody worth taking seriously cares about getting ruined.
You know what? fuck you and your generalizing, just because someone likes the Halo franchise (which is a lot more than crying 12 year olds on the voicechat) doesn't make them a driveling retard. Too me Michael Bay directing ANYTHING related too Halo would be just as bad as Uwe Boll doing it.
Transformers 2 makes Transformers 1 look like the fucking shawshank redemption by comparison. Transformers 1 had a few good moments, Transformers 2 is just so boring, and filled to the brim with terrible comic relief characters.
shawshank redemption was actually quite good :P Infact its known by many critics to be one of the top 10 best films of all time.
Hey, the Halo storyline is pretty shit game-wise, but they have some pretty damn good books. Not all of us Halo fans are mindless, you know.
No, you got it the wrong way around, the games have a good story and Nylund can't write for shits. I'm stuck halfway into Ghosts because I simply can't bear to read one more fucking page of that tripe.
I liked the first part though I usually hate comics movies (dark knight, spiderman, ironman), and the second was soooo bad.
shawshank redemption was actually quite good :P Infact its known by many critics to be one of the top 10 best films of all time.
it was an expression dude

Filter rapist sighted, and he's working on major motion picture releases. Fuck.
it was an expression dude
ah ok =) It's early morning here so i have an excuse lol Sidenote - i'd actually prefer watching the oroginal Transformer cartoons compared to both these Films.
i'd actually prefer watching the original Transformer cartoons compared to both these Films.
hell yeah :v:
shawshank redemption was actually quite good :P Infact its known by many critics to be one of the top 10 best films of all time.
That's his point.
Some of the fighting in this movie was good like when Optimus Prime is doing work on the Decepticons but other than that the movie was shit.
I only liked the fighting in it.
Megan Fox made this movie just bearable.
No, you got it the wrong way around, the games have a good story and Nylund can't write for shits. I'm stuck halfway into Ghosts because I simply can't bear to read one more fucking page of that tripe.
The games had a fairly basic storyline, to be honest. For all three games, it just felt like they were doing the same levels over and over again with better graphics and new weapons. The stories of the books, however, are fresh and usually take a break from the testosterone xenophobic action of the games. Don't get me wrong, I liked the games, I just feel they were a bit weak story-wise (With the exception of ODST. I loves me some ODST.)
Maybe it seems that way if you aren't paying attention, but really the books simply water down much of what can already be seen in the games with their bad writing. Things you'd have to infer, pay attention to and carefully pick up in pieces of fragments in the game is spelled out with giant stupid kindergarten letters in Nylunds books. The Flood was basically just a retelling of the game as played on easy with some filler thrown in. Although I must admit I very much liked the Private Jenkins arc, peak of the series. The story of Halo is very environmental, the xenophobic war thing is really just a medium for that. And ODST shits all over the continuity to be honest, even if I do like the style and the characters. And even within the context of "simple" humans versus aliens the storytelling is tight and masterful at every turn. Halo 2 is by far the most cinematic game I've played yet. And Halo 3, while unsatisfying story wise, has left me dumbfounded to this day. It's deep and I don't have a flashlight strong enough to illuminate this depth. Which is why it is unsatisfying I figure. It's easy to see "lol Master Chief beats the Flood, kthxbai" and miss all the details.
