No, But, Like I said, You can get infections and stuff.
So if there's a medical problem, then do it. If not, don't force it on the kid. Simple as that.
I like being uncircumcised. I think my foreskin is a bit big because when I'm fully erect it still covers the whole head, but I'm sure that's normal. I'd laugh my ass off if some chick would think it's nasty.
I'm circumcised and I am totally fine. I've never come across any problems. Masturbating feels great (especially with lube) Sometimes I feel that people over react to how they might feel when they think about being circumcised. But I am all for letting them grow up and decide for themselves.
Hopefully in the future I'll be able to grow a proper foreskin from my own DNA then have it transplanted back on to me.
How can you know it feels great when you can't compare it to masturbation with a foreskin?
How do I know that it feels great? I wasn't saying that it feels greater than masturbating with a foreskin, I was just saying that it feels great. Nothing was being compared.
The quickest I've ever came while masturbating was when I used lube and just rubbed my head with my palm. It was so sensitive that it was almost unbearable to keep it up for more than a second. And in not even three seconds, I came so fast it wasn't even full jizz, it was like half water. Circumcised penises aren't that sensitive, are they?
No, But, Like I said, You can get infections and stuff.
Getting "infections and stuff" from what exactly? You just kind of say it with no real context. You could be referring to getting a infection from a botched op, or getting infections like STDs (circumcision isn't going to stop you getting STDs bro), or just a general infection anywhere on the penis, Which one? Even if it is done for a religious thing, I think it should really be up to the child if they want it removed unless it is threatening the functions of their penis in some way (medical reasons basically). Doing just because a religion tells you too is mindless and fairly pointless.
What religion makes you mutilate your penis?
catholicism
catholicism
uhh It isn't a requirement of catholicism. (Coming from an ex-cathloic :zombie:)
catholicism
Judaism, typically. [editline] 7:30 [/editline] Oh dewd, we're late :(
judaism
Islam

No parent should have the right to have their child circumcised for non-medical reasons. Or if you agree that they should, why can't we do it to females? Sexism at its best.
Because back when they came up with it it was much healthier due to people being unable to clean themselves often.
Yep, so they decided to make open cuts and remove skin, with probably a high risk of infection
It's a lot easier to clean, but if I had had a choice, I'd probably be uncircumcised. Along with other stupid things parents do to their children, it should probably be unallowed till the child is at a decision-making age.
I myself am not circumcised, but this man also wants to outlaw surgery on the actual Penis, which is absurd to me also, because the way he says it, he might as well outlaw all surgery until 18 years of age. So, FP, what are your opinions on circumcision?
he doesn't actually want to outlaw it if its for medical purposes, he just wants to outlaw it when its done to a perfectly healthy person without their consent, which is perfectly rational. also: before this turns into every other circumcision thread on facepunch ever, don't even bother talking about if you are circumcised or not. it doesn't add anything to the conversation at all, it starts flame wars, and its kind of retarded anyway because i'm sure 99% of you didn't have a choice in the matter. but feel free to speak your opinions on circumcision, and to disprove any myths about circumcision or the foreskin.
I don't understand this "Longer in bed" statement for guys who are circumcised. I'm circumcised, but I think when I jerk off it lasts no longer than it would for anyone else.
Had mine done for religious reasons when I was a baby. Doesn't really bother me. If I have a boy then I'll leave it up to him
I don't understand this "Longer in bed" statement for guys who are circumcised. I'm circumcised, but I think when I jerk off it lasts no longer than it would for anyone else.
being a quick shot isn't related to the foreskin at all. cut guys can still have premature ejaculation issues. usually it happens from obesity, lack of exercise, stress, and a shitty diet.
Funnily enough, when people find out that someone is jewish they don't immediately start making fun of their penis. There's a goldmine of things for people to take the piss out of us for.

It's not as much an issue, except with MRSA, and in developing countries. I think that male and female circumcision for religious purposes below the age of consent is manifestly incompatible with our system of liberal ideas.
I'm circumcised and don't mind it but if I ever have a son there's no way in hell I'd let him be circumcised at birth. It's his body and nothing's going to be done with it until he's old enough to make an informed decision.
I am too, and I would let my kid go through it, because he's so young he will forget it, if he does it later he will NEVER forget it.
I am too, and I would let my kid go through it, because he's so young he will forget it, if he does it later he will NEVER forget it.
yeah, great logic. i should go fuck some newborns asshole right now, its okay because they won't remember it anyway!
It's for protection of the sensitive glans, it's necessary if you wan't to have proper sensation there. Removing it is basically exposing it to a lifetime of rubbing against cloth in your clothes, drying it and desensitising it.
Not always a bad thing to have it less sensitive. Especially now sex is more for pleasure than for reproducing. It means you can 'last longer'
Not always a bad thing to have it less sensitive. Especially now sex is more for pleasure than for reproducing. It means you can 'last longer'
so... since sex is for pleasure, we should give a person less pleasure, because that is more pleasureful? okay i'm sorry i waste my time in these threads but i really want to know what makes a person have these really stupid bouts of logic.
mutilate isn't really the right term
OK No anaesthetic, holding the child down/having him strapped in, scraping and cutting protective tissue off of his body with a scalpel
What exactly are the pros and cons of getting circumcised?
I am too, and I would let my kid go through it, because he's so young he will forget it, if he does it later he will NEVER forget it.
That is the most stupid thing I have ever read. How many people remember their surgeries? He can simply do it later with a bucket of drugs, which would mean he would not be conscious of the procedure. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline]
OK No anesthetic, holding the child down/having him strapped in, scraping and cutting protective tissue off of his body with a scalpel
aka mutilate
Circumcised as a kid (not newborn) and i have to say it's honestly the most terrible experience on earth. I'm gonna have my son circumcised at birth because i wouldn't want him to go through that, or have smegma to deal with.
