Have you ever had severe phimosis? Trying to stretch the foreskin in that condition is probably the most excruciating pain you can feel from your penis.
you get a mild steroid creme from your doctor to do it. you don't start stretching your foreskin when you have severe phimosis right away without ANYTHING to help with it. are you actually looking up what i'm talking about?
Have you ever seen an ACTUAL circumcision, not on the internet, 90% of the time the infant is a sleep and doesn't wake up during the procedure. they are barely restrained, which is needed thanks to the immature nervous system. The blood loss is very minimal, often less than 5ml's, depending on technique.
could you please link me to a video where an infant is perfectly fine throughout it's circumcision? because i have seen many videos, both on the internet and from documentaries, and they are never okay.
If you ask me this entire subject can be summarized in two words: Designer Penises. :v:
It's been exposed for 5 years, if it was going to be desensitized, it would be by now. [editline]24th September 2011[/editline] Since it actually happened to me, i can say that the cream did not help at all, i received antibiotics, creams, and tried using cold compresses. Granted that was only my experience, and others i know have had great success with it, but I'm merely speaking from my own experiences.
and i'm not saying that that it is bad that you got it circumcised because of that. i think that it should be done for medical reasons when it is needed. and an 18 year old person who has gotten it cut at birth has had (of course) 18 years of the glans being exposed to pantlegs, diapers, and anything that they wear.
Debatable. Penises look better than vaginas (how does a flappy gaping hole look good?) and circumcised penises look better than uncircumcised ones.
You're just saying that because you've seen a penis more often than a vagina and more circumcised penises than uncircumcised one. It's not better. You're just used to it more. How does a flappy, fleshy, organ look good? [sp]Unless you're female, to which I have no explanation for.[/sp]
As I heard one wise man on the internet once say: Sleek bullet of sex vs retarded sand worm.
They tend to look the same when involved in sexual activity.
All the talk about lasting longer is made up in my honest opinion, but less sensitivity is nearly a fact, isn't it though?
I admit that I can't state sources because I was just reading around on the internet about it, but according to some person who did state a source the loss of sensitivity is a myth and those who are circumsised later in life actually have more chance of losing sensitivity. Apparently it has nothing to do with rubbing on your trousers. [editline]25th September 2011[/editline] http://content.karger.com/produktedb/produkte.asp?DOI=85930&typ=pdf Here's a study that basically say that loss or gain in sensitivity after circumcision can go either way. I don't know how reputable the source is, just putting it out there.
yeah if it's the same amount of "torture" as circumcision. I remember it as little more than a papercut. If you want to stop baby torture, stop cutting the umbilical cord. It falls off eventually on it's own, but cutting it is extremely painful to the child.
Uh, there's no nerve endings in the umbilical cord. Cutting it doesn't hurt the baby or the mother.
Coming from a country where every summer many children get circumcised, I'am with circumcision Edit: Thanks Notanything What I mean is that circumcision in the Philippines is a path to be become a man.
I think it should be done for strictly medical reasons, and only if the parents have due cause to believe it will cause medical complications further in life. Its absolutely barbaric if done for religious reasons.
Coming from a country where every summer many children get circumcised, I'am with circumcision
And, why?
It is genital mutilation at the end of the day, it should not be forced upon anyone.
And, why?
Maybe he has his own unique answer, but in the Philippines the procedure is basically a cultural thing. A lot of times it can also be done in a non-medical facility, which is obviously not very hygenic. What I know so far is that some believe that not doing the procedure would prevent growth. It's generally done on pre-prepubescents who may, or may not believe such a thing. Regardless, because of its cultural influence, some people don't even dare to question the procedure, thus follow it blindly as well. It's quite a strange situation, there is almost a discrimination with the few who remain natural, being called "supot".
Uh, there's no nerve endings in the umbilical cord. Cutting it doesn't hurt the baby or the mother.
I mean the part where they're no longer physically attached to the mother, everything the kid knows at that point is gone.
I know 0 people that have been Circumcised here, this seems to happen mainly in the US.
being circumcized really ruins nothing
being circumcized really ruins nothing
Technically, neither does female circumcision or cutting off nipples of males. But just think about the shit storms that would happen, then.
The problem with debating circumcision is because everyone wants to feel proud of their dick. You ever wonder why most pro-circumcision people are circumcised themselves? There's your answer.
I know one guy who was circumcised, it wasn't such a big deal according to him. I'm not really against it, as long as the choice is made willingly by a grown man able to know what he's doing. Cutting the prepuce off babies dicks seem a little extreme as they can't choose by themselves (I'm also pretty sure it can cause a few problems during puberty and in overall while growing up)
Technically, neither does female circumcision or cutting off nipples of males. But just think about the shit storms that would happen, then.
in terms of the things that have been discussed, it's not like the head of my dick is fucking numb [editline]25th September 2011[/editline] i dunno, uncircumcised penises look like they're wearing a sock and i think that's hilarious
i dunno, uncircumcised penises look like they're wearing a sock and i think that's hilarious
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/69/Prepuce_202.jpg[/img_thumb] Agreed Also female circumcision includes cutting off the Clitoris so no it's not the same thing at all.
Technically, neither does female circumcision or cutting off nipples of males. But just think about the shit storms that would happen, then.
I wouldn't mind having my nipples cut off, just like I don't mind having had my foreskin removed. Neither are really necessary.
I wouldn't mind having my nipples cut off, just like I don't mind having had my foreskin removed. Neither are really necessary.
Being nipple-less sounds a bit creepy though. Also say hi to two nice scars if you ever get this done.
Being nipple-less sounds a bit creepy though. Also say hi to two nice scars if you ever get this done.
That wasn't exactly my point.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/69/Prepuce_202.jpg[/img_thumb] Agreed Also female circumcision includes cutting off the Clitoris so no it's not the same thing at all.
Foreskin isn't necessary, and neither is the clitoris.
Foreskin isn't necessary, and neither is the clitoris.
The clitoris is the main source of pleasure for women, it is necessary. Cutting it would be the equivalent of cutting a man's glans.
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/69/Prepuce_202.jpg[/img_thumb] Agreed Also female circumcision includes cutting off the Clitoris so no it's not the same thing at all.
Wtf im uncircumsised and it doesnt look like that at all.
Well, apparently my circumcision was moved to tomorrow, so wish me luck.
I was circumcised at birth, and I'm glad. Firstly there is no possible way you can remember it, so the pain never existed. Secondly, many women I know cant stand the sight of an uncircumcised penis. Truth be told, it is the parents decision and if you want to make a difference then just don't have your children circumcised.
I've never understood why this has always been such a huge debate on the internet.
I was circumcised at birth, and I'm glad.
