This thread is a trainwreck, its in the wrong section and if it was in the right section you would get banned as well as the mixed opinions half of which are disagreeable
Eventually getting these. [img_thumb]http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/8162/sr80i03.jpg[/img_thumb]
I have SR60s. I hear the SR80s have much better bass, but the SR60s are seriously underwhelming in that area. Other than that, the detail is great and they're comfortable, adjustable, somewhat moddable, and they can take a beating without breaking. I think for that particular price range, I prefer Sennheiser PX100s over my SR60s, to be completely honest. The quality of the PX100s is pretty much on par w/ my SR60s, but the stereo imaging is way better. They aren't as durable though - mine broke, so I'm using the Grados
Sennheiser CX 500 or CX 300 II
This. Best pair of in-ear earphones i've ever used.

I'm happy with my Tour Beats by Dr. Dre. I hear a lot more background instrumental with more of a realistic bass effect.

do yourself a favor, spend 20 dollars more to get denon c360's, i have them and love it. got them at my local best buy sound quality is awesome for the price, its enclosure is made of metal, it filters out the noise you would usualy get with IEMS, suggested brand by audiophiles and its ergonomic
I can't stand earbuds.
I have to wear either a headset or over-ear earphones, in-ear ones always fall out for me. I have these currently, the sound quality is great but the bass is pretty weak. Still, the best over-ear headphones I have ever used was these. Although finding another pair for a reasonable price is murder. :saddowns:
Creative.Had some of these, now I have Sienheisser's, howver these are cheaper(if you take the buy new option)and have better bass.
If i wear ear-buds for more than an hour my ear hurts :frown:
jamming things in your ear are generally uncomfortable ;)

You want my advice? Either spend $2 on a pair of headphones or save up and get some Bose for around $200. There's no difference between $2 headphones and $30 headphones. They both sound like shit. The absolute MINIMUM you can spend to get decent headphones is $140 when the Bose on-ear headphones go on super sale. When they're not on sale, they go for $180-$220 depending on where you get 'em. EDIT: Actually, here's the on-ear Bose for only $89. They're used but for the price, who cares? I did just get the Sony Extra Bass earbuds though, for around $35, i like to listen to a lot of dubstep/electronic music and like the bass, they sound sexy as fuck, WAY better than the skullcandies...
