What if the Nazis won the war?

My brother used to read Alternatehistory.com a lot and this is a forbidden topic there.
What if
-Stalin and Hitler teamed up and Greater Fascist Commie Alliance
-[del]Japs never bombed Purl Hurbur[/del] [insert key event here] and USA stayed out of the woar?
-Belgium builds Maginot Line 2.0 before WWII
-Natzees had late-war (1945) weapons by 1939
#3 and #4 are actually two I had in mind, given that it'd be decently easy to morph them into historically feasible and supportable papers. I was wondering, since a lot of the details of WWII are lost to me, does anyone know if Germany held back on technological developments because of resource problems in particular? Or if there were any particular conquests that Hitler had considered to gain a more substantial, solid source of raw materials? Because then #4 could be explained and made fun rather easily.
#3 though would be kinda boil down to how many fronts Germany had open at the same time, but it'd be piss easy to back up with a bunch of grade-earning factoids.
what if Chiang Kai-Shek was able to fully equip his armed forces with advanced German equipment like how Hitler wanted, and established a lasting friendship with the Nazis, entering the war on the Axis side and alienating the Japanese (also what Hitler wanted)
what if germany wasn't a country??? :o
What is Germany's economy was strong enough for them to carry on the war.

This is a possibility, but lower down on the paper breaks down how the grades go lol:

I'm picking my electives for next year, they put them into the system on Thursday or whatever, the day that I scheduled a meeting with my counselor so I don't know if I'll be able to talk to him before or after but either way I need to talk about colleges...
But anyway for electives I've got:
-Acoustic Guitar Building
-Woodworking II (half year)
-Computerized Manufacturing (half year) (this is woodworking but with one of the new machines we got in, it's basically just a big fancy router that can also be used to make signs and engravings which is hella hard to do.
This is one chill schedule, and I'll probably take AP Psych for history creds and choose electives to get credits for the other main classes. I don't know if I should drop my language or not. I'm in German II right now and although it's a neat language (yeah I like it I listen to a lot of German bands) I just can't be arsed to learn it in school. A new language has never been my thing.

I use our big fancy cnc router to making electric guitar.
Guys
should I go to college for Video Game design or Digital Film Production?
I use our big fancy cnc router to making electric guitar.
That's what one of the reasons our school got it, sophomore year I made an electric guitar and we used a bunch of templates with routers. A few mishaps here and there but it was still fun on top of the exciting experience we get from sanding.
I was deciding between electric or acoustic for next year but along with some other reasons, I'm better off building an acoustic again since it's harder to build while the electric I can do again much easier on my own.
Plus I wouldn't mind building a 6 string guitar version of the bass I'm building now to hear the difference/improve upon it. That's only if I don't decide on a new design and my current one works out well (just the tapping the body alone makes a big booming sound).

Honestly i wonder if i can combine both and do CGI for gaming teasers. that'd be epic.

Whichever one you feel you take more pride in/passionate about.
Also, I remember reading this thread a while back: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1234052
Most people agreed on what cqbcat said...
Just get a degree in computer science at a well established university. Think of what your degree will look like from your employers perspective. They may not take a game design degree serious. Furthermore, if you can't land a job in game design, a computer science degree will help you get hired anywhere else programmers are need.
I think the same thing can be said for game design (if it's what I think it is, being different from game development). You'll have better luck finding work if you're skills are more broad, rather than focused on one area (games). Even with skills that are more broad, you can still join a company/find work involving games.
I'd honestly like to start my own company as well, like a small indie one but i'm pretty sure thats a far out goal and i should probably go to college first.
I sometimes think I want to get a degree in business and a degree in gunsmithing and open up a little gun shop. I think it'd be fun.
I have acquired glasses. I can now actually read things at a reasonable distance. Woo!

Mostly the technological developments were held up because Hitler wouldn't approve divergence of resources for them. He felt that the only thing soldiers needed was the K98 rifle. Also he wouldn't allow anything to take precedence over the "final solution", even troop trains had to give way to trains bound for concentration camps.
Operation Barbarossa originally was designed to capture the oil fields in the southern caucuses, which would have fueled the war for the next 10 years at least. Then Hitler fucked it up by turning his forces against Stalingrad for the sake of taking "Stalin's city"

Aw sweet, I may very well focus on Hitler's micromanagement and what would have happened if he didn't so much. Lots of freedom to talk about what would've been interesting.
Thanks :) (ideas are due tomorrow)
