today is the one year anniversary of my dad's passing
Today is the anniversary of the 228 Massacre which my great-grandfather was killed in.
Once I printed out some pictures of Richard Nixon looking really mad, tinted them red, and wrote "ALWAYS" on them hand taped them above a bunch of urinals.
In elementary school, I found a t shirt in the bathroom, so I flushed it down the toilet.
I have a really good one ill post tomorrow or something
Oh man, high school stories? In ninth grade I had a teacher who wouldn't stop going on about his cell phone. Well, I don't remember how it came up, but I was talking with one of my friends about the amount of energy contained in even a cell phone battery, and how a rupture could lead to a considerable explosion.
Well, this teacher overheard, and told me he was sending an email to our advisor. Ooooookay.
So later in the day, the vice principal comes into my class, gets me, and takes me to the office. In the office are the principal, vice principal, my counselor, and the friend.
They thought I was planning to blow up the school. I told them we were talking about cell phones and that it's common knowledge that too much power will make them explode.
He told me common knowledge is knowing we were in the state of Pennsylvania.
Without even thinking, I replied 'Well then, it's common knowledge if you're not a dumbass'.
...Somehow both my friend and I got let off the hook. Scot-free. I still don't understand how it happened.

Oh man, I haven't used that program in years.
In middle school, private, half the 8th grade class were on weekly progress reports and probably only 2 did them so the rest of the half got in house suspended. We walked around the school messing around picking up trash, I found a huge piece of metal that I threw around the campus until I had to throw it away.
Only thing I did in secondary school was I snuck into the IT department while they were all on lunch break with a friend and we got access to the desktop profile of every single student and staff and we replaced all the desktop icons with bat files to initiate a shutdown.
Oh doho 2 week suspension.
Also called some girl annoying and got a detention for insulting "an emotionally fragile young lady"
i didnt choose the nerd lyfe
I've done so much shit in school and never got suspended. Lol
breaking kids bones, telling teachers that they're stupid, etc. I was usually quiet tho.

OH MY GOD IS THAT GRIDWORLD?!?
MAKE IT DRAW SWASTIKAS AND STARS OF DAVID IT'S REALLY EASY
that's what I did completely by accident, teacher was much amused
in my primary school (elementary) in like your equiveleant of 7th grade (11-12 years old and stuff) we had this trainee teacher who was a total knob. he just assumed if any of the boys in our class of 13 did anything that it was something bad or whatever so this one day we protested against him in the playground chanting;
"ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR WE DON'T WANT MISTER MCGEE NO MORE
FIVE-SIX-SEVEN-EIGHT HE'S THE ONE WE REALLY HATE"
all of us had to go inside and start writing out sections of the dictionary for the rest of lunch and it was like "lolk" and after lunch we had the the trainee teacher again and it was really awkward and amusing
but then i felt ill and went to the toilets and threw up and went home
we got letters home, but its like, if 11 year old's genuinely hate you and go out of their way to show this without acting like douches in class, you're a terrible teacher
when I was in middle school some kid would mess with me sometimes and I would talk to my parents and teachers about it but the school never did shit about it so my dad told me to fight back.
ended up beating the shit out of the kid, never got in trouble for it since the school refused to do anything about it in the first place.
besides that I went to the principles office for fighting people or pranks, I miss those days :(

God dammit sometimes I absolutely hate my town. I came to Cali from Mass right before 8th grade, you know, that period when everyones already in their middle-school cliques and hates outsiders like me? And then by high school the majority of the school rejected me so that sucks a lot. I'm still somewhat going through the culture shock of moving across the country during in the worst time possible, and I still take a lot of shit everyday.
I guess it could be worse though. A lot of my friends back in Mass started having drug and gang problems by 8th or 9th grade. Some stabbings in the high school that I would have been in, one guy I knew died of cancer, another one got shot by a crip, one guy I knew for most of my life who is about 3 years older than I am and who I looked up to a lot got arrested for dealing weed, a girl I knew is addicted to huffing, another used to be a straight-A student and is now a heroin junkie.
I also dealt with a lot of bullying, and I frequently got death threats and my face beaten in by some guy and his buddies. Mass doesn't have and never had anti-bullying laws so I got my shit pushed in almost every day. Honestly if I wouldn't have moved from Mass I probably would have committed suicide. So yeah, I traded a possible life of drug addiction and violence with a life of awkwardness and loneliness. Well I guess thats my little life story. If any of you want to know where my cynical view of the world comes from, here it is. Life sucks and then you die just the way you lived, always at square one.
I've been in Hawaii since 3rd grade, I've definitely seen kids I know change drastically through high school. Moved from Orlando, Florida where I was the only other Asian kid in the entire school.
In other news, some 9th grader was running from the cops and got arrested right in front of the school this morning. He was carrying weed and had a gun (reportedly). Pretty stupid to be trying to deal/gangsta' out especially when the police station is right next to the school.

Sounds like my freshmen science teacher I had a couple years ago (and now my driving instructor), he grew up in the south in a coal mining town and a lot of his friends got themselves down bad routes to drugs/alcohol and violence, or just had a tough life overall. One of his old friends died recently and he went down to his funeral for a few days earlier this week.
But MA has some pretty strict bullying laws now which makes everyone realize the punishment. You'd be very surprised if you came to my high school; there's really no bullying at all and most people get along or keep to themselves. Of course there's still the ghetto kids but they usually do there own thing. Maybe a few times a year two of them will get into a fight over some stupid shit and get suspended, but that's the worst that happens. It's pretty live and let live at my school.
