Then watch it at home.
Not possible if it's just come out, and some people including me don't like piracy.
Why don't you go there with your friends? I don't see the point of going to the movies without someone else.
I always go to movies with friends, but I don't see the point in it. It's not like you talk to each other during the movie, all you do is watch the movie.
I thought going to the cinema was a social event to some degree
Well it's not that there's a lot of conversation...
Well it's not that there's a lot of conversation...
before and after there is though
There's nothing wrong with it, but I'd feel really awkward doing so. I think it's more a social taboo than anything to go alone, it doesn't necessarily mean you're a loser or friendless.
No, it means you have cancer and you're going to die.
If friends offer you an opportunity to go to the movies, just go, it's fun. Especially after getting the runs from eating a Large Popcorn bale.
I watch movies alone all the time. We should do it together and sit 15 seats apart so we can both be alone
When I went to see The Collector, I was the only one in the whole theater. [editline]09:16PM[/editline] :frown:

If you feel like it, do it.
No, it's not really normal. It's not bad, but it's better to go with friends
Who cares? Who are you trying to impress?
I was at the cinema the other day to watch 2012. A fat guy who was in front of me in line was there alone. While waiting in the lobby he just stood in a corner alone. It was embarrassing.
Unlike him though I don't stand like a retard. I have swagga movements. I would probably talk to the nearest hot chick. My question was weather it's accepted in society.
It's abnormal, but there's nothing wrong with it.
Yepp, I definetly agree...
If you're upset, sure.
I go to movies alone sometimes. Not a big deal.
I've never went to any movie alone, but I wouldn't mind to. Also I hate the noises people make during the movies, why can't they shut their trap, and only talk in the breaks?
Yeah, I totally believe you.
I care why?
Unlike him though I don't stand like a retard. I have swagga movements. I would probably talk to the nearest hot chick.
Yeah right
OH NO! What a freak, he is having fun ALONE! Seriously, it's perfectly fine. As normal as playing video games alone, i'd say.
OH NO! What a freak, he is having fun ALONE! Seriously, it's perfectly fine. As normal as playing video games alone, i'd say.
What about sitting at the bar alone?
lol loner
I can't wait 'till this guy will get banned for the same reason as his first account did, for being an idiot (Hezzy you're 'da man). EDIT: You broke my automerge man :P
What about sitting at the bar alone?
Now you're pushing it.
I've done it once, when Cloverfield were running. But it wasn't the awkward since there were only like 20 people in the whole cinema compared to the 200 when bigger movies run.
It's completely normal! I go almost everywhere alone! Like the movies, the mall, parties, friends houses, etc. :frown:
I see it no different than renting a movie and watching it by yourself.
You obviously must either have a very small theater or are blind and/or deaf.
Nothing wrong with it. :)
I go to the cinema to watch a film, not joke around with my friends. It's annoying for everyone else when a group of loudmouth friends come in.
If I go with too many people I start to loose the "cinema experience" feel of going to watch it. I usually go with 2-3 people but, whatever makes you happy OP.
