Thanks for listening.
Yeah I did, I do all the bass and drum parts while my friend does the guitar.
I like those two instrumental tracks, not too high on the drum&bass. The NiN remix is pretty sweet, you should make an art thread yourself to promote art and music yourself :)
Here's some more art from me ;

I did some proper colouring on the house now.

I also got myself a new avatar.

And three new (possible) ratings for the cooking forum as per Orkels request.
I'm going to abuse the shit out of the T-rex I made

Maybe add some gray-hue shading to his skin. Some contrast overally would do great in the whole body and gear too.
Yes contrast is something I really need to work on, I'll see what I can do :)
Ok I've done some changes now, both in ways of contrast and also going to recolour some parts ;

All the parts in red are going to be recoloured completely, while the other stuff that isn't recoloured is probably going to stay the way they are.
It keeps happening

[editline]6th March 2011[/editline]
I got a feeling this one is going to take a lot of time to actually finish, I just can't get satisfied with the way it looks.
Oh hey, the 10 hours spent on the shading down the drain ;

I don't regret it one bit though, each part that was coloured (the picture in the last post) were very valuable excercise in how to colour skin, metal, cloth and leather. Now I'm going to go down another route called simplicity and higher contrasts.

I'm working on the armour, might have a bit too much of that shiny stuff though!
Edit : I changed the shiny stuff and working more on contrasts.
[editline]6th March 2011[/editline]
Oh hey I keep changing it all the time
My project to only use three colours failed, I'm up at four shades on the skin and five on metal.

Pretty damn nice. I wish I could draw like you.
Everyone can, here let me show you the first drawing I made on facepunch ;

19th of November, 2009. I'm glad I put it up on my deviantart because it's a lot of fun to look at your old drawings and laugh at how terrible they are. All I did was draw up a basic shape and then add pillow shading on it, terrible.
Next picture was this ;

A week later, and the same terrible quality.
Everyone can draw stuff like this, all you need is extreme dedication* and a willingness to scrap (as in, abandon and not completely throw away although I'm guilty of this when it comes to a couple of larger pictures I've drawn when I've wanted to do some human anatomy) and you'll be able to draw stuff like the legionnaire yourself.
Being able to draw is all in your mindset. Being able to learn from your past experience, to never get comfortable with what you're drawing and looking at everything around you and analyze why the light reflects the way it does etc are probably the most important thing you can do to get better at drawing.
You should never think of time spent drawing things that you end up scraping as a defeat or a waste of time, because it isnt. It is valuable experience you can draw upon when you're drawing the next time.
*And by extreme dedication I mean having intense periods of drawing only to abandon everything that is drawing for the next 2-3 months, and then have 2-3 weeks of intense drawing with another period of drawing nothing for 2-3 months.
[editline]7th March 2011[/editline]
Oh hey and I've also got some more progress;

Thank you for this valuable picture, I shall cherish it forever!
-Haha just kidding I've put it up in a separate thread instead-
