would that not be two polys because of tesselation?
In editable poly mode you get 1 poly, in all other modes it is 2, so pick what you like :D
Is there any requirements for the beauty-render? I kinda want to put my plane in the skies and photoshop the propellers a bit.
I thought in edit poly mode it is two aswell, just that it is handeled as one poly.
I thought in edit poly mode it is two aswell, just that it is handeled as one poly.
If I press 7 to see poly count, it says 1
would that not be two polys because of tesselation?
No because he's in edible poly. :v: [editline]01:21PM[/editline]
Is there any requirements for the beauty-render? Wow it's looking like I don't even have time to work on my own contribution at all. Whatever, then.
What program do you guys use?
What program do you guys use?
i uses Maya 2008.
3ds Max 2010
3ds Max 2007 I really need to upgrade :frown:
That's what I think of your rules.
Some of the rules about it being a plane are lame but all the stuff you're bitching about like not using procedural textures and having material and poly limits are 100% standard in modelling contests
Final Entry: The main thruster is actually a big ass bomb specifically built to annihilate every living thing on a prospective planet. One simply fly's their ship directly at the planets surface (using the speed pads located at the back to slow their descent), drops the centrally located bomb, and then deploys the parachute. Ship doubles as a HQ for your new planet and a fortress for the your people to live in while things settle down outside. ^ It looks so strange I can't make it out how it looks
I board my flight right after work tomorrow and I've got no damn time to work on my antonov anyways. I'll set up a poll when I land and get to where I'm staying ASAP. [editline]05:43PM[/editline]
^ It looks so strange I can't make it out how it looks
I can't tell what the scale it's supposed to be on. Is it huge or small?
^ It looks so strange I can't make it out how it looks
eh? What exactly is wrong? Is my screen set to some weird contrast/darkness or something, because it looks fine to me. [editline]03:53PM[/editline]
I board my flight right after work tomorrow and I've got no damn time to work on my antonov anyways. Is it huge or small?
It's basically a very large spaceship, let's say it houses 1 million people. Obviously the "diagram" isn't to scale, kinda hard to draw a planet and something that's like .00000000001 the size of a planet to scale.
Is this ever going to end?
Is this ever going to end?
Well, if it does, I want a new contest pretty soon, like a firearm modelling competition or something in that direction.
Couldn't find the thing I was going to use to make a poll. Rate me dumb. :buddy:
You can't.
Couldn't find the thing I was going to use to make a poll. Rate me dumb. :buddy:
You have to ask a mod to do it for you, here's lithifold's page; http://www.facepunch.com/member.php?u=172966
