No chance in hell.
I. hate. Detroit. :argh:
Arch nemesis of Pens, of course I hate them too! haha
Canucks will defiantly crush the Sharks.
Keep dreaming buddy. Even if they do, it's still preseason. If they win this year, they may just be able to shake the connotation of 'Shorks'
No chance in hell.
K, lets see here.. in the playoffs, the Canucks lost to the Blackhawks, the series was 4-2. The Blackhawks then went on and swept the Sharks 4-0. Mind you, this was last season, the teams are different now.. But, the Canucks have a much stronger team this year, and if they play the Sedins, Morrison, Kesler, etc etc.. Then the Sharks are going to have a problem, but we'll see.
.... when your home team scores that first goal, the crowd goes fucking insane.....
Like in every sport?
No? You can't tell me touchdowns in football and points in basketball compare to a goal in hockey, they don't.. Maybe Soccer, but definitely not any other sport.
Hate if you must, but I won free tickets to Saturday's (Sept. 25th) Pittsburgh Penguins game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The new Consol Energy Center is AMAZING compared to Melon Arena any seat you get in the new building has a perfect view of every angle of the ice.
Other than the new building a win for the Pens, 5 fights, and Evgeni Malkin and Rick Nash dropping the gloves is pretty insane seeing as Nash is the Captain of the Blues and Malkin is a Superstar, not a fighter. But saying that I guess he proved you don't fuck with the Russian guy who's 6"4'
Meh, in my opinion it was more luck for Malkin.. It look like Nash fell to the ground so if that didn't happen I think Nash may have taken it to Malkin for sure.
oh those canucks
I think we should get a FP fantasy hockey league going :D I've never done one and I've always wanted to
Agreed.
Funny enough I was at a hockey game last night, was the Regina Pats (my cities team) verse some team from Brandon, but since our team sucks we lost... as always :v:
Ready, set, START LEAGUE! :D

What a coincidence, my name is Brandon.
Go Habs Go!
Lol ^
Go Habs Go!
No offense, but Habs fans are lunatics.
Vancouver is in Canada
Yeah, it is.. and?
Vancouver will win the cup.
Coincidently the year after a city hosts the Oylmpics, their hockey team has won the Stanley Cup. Well, Vancouver just hosted the Oylmpics, lets see if we get that stroke of luck too.
More importantly.
I wish they would move the Phoenix team back north to Canada.
The league shouldn't have to own a team to keep it afloat, especially not when there's towns with eager fans wishing for an NHL team.
The Coyotes were supposed to be moved to Ontario. Don't know what happened there.

they didn't move because last season they actually played pretty damn well and the fanbase came back or something like that. I think they're still having some financial issues though.
Ah. Well, I don't think the move would have been really smart anyways.

As far as i know, they are still owned by the NHL, despite pulling in a bit more fans last season.
Apparently there was rumor that they would move back to Winnipeg since the city just got it's nice new stadium up and going.
I wouldn't mind that. As long as they went back to The Jets.
I liked those sweaters.
wow, I wasn't aware the NHL still owned them. I doubt they'll move though.
Bettmans a prick though, i doubt he'll allow it.

He seems to be partial to Winnipeg over any of the other Canadian cities.
It makes financial sense, i don't get why they don't just move back.
