I floss/mouthwash every day but brush maybe once a week. My teeth are pretty much perfect, aside from being yellowish. The dentist said it was just a genetic thing.
You do know that yellowish teeth are the actual colors of perfectly, naturally healthy teeth? The chalk white collgate smile you see is actually a marketing ploy that has stuck.
i suck it out with my tongue
You'd be impressed by how much you don't get out with your tongue. Flossing really helps get out those extra few bits of food and it prevents from making your breath smell like poop. For you people not brushing that often: ask a friend or relative to smell your breath and ask them if it smells bad. It's more likely that the people around you smell your breath easier than you yourself, simply because you're used to it. Like your own farts for example. You tend to like your own fart more than other people's farts, yeah? Same goes for your breath.

twice at day at least.
After each meal. Unless I'm at school, so in practice it's more like two times a day.
Twice. But there's something as important as brushing if not more : flossing. You don't even realize the shit you have between your teeth. If you have a tendency to bleed from your gums : floss. If your mouth smells like shit : floss. Just floss. Also avoid these ultra-aggressive mouthwashes like the plague, like Listerine and all that. We have useful bacterias in our mouth and mouthwash is harmful to them. Good brushing and flossing is more than enough.
I would brush more, if I weren't like, allergic to fluoride or something. Most I can get done is a simple mouth wash and dry brush

Endocrine disruptor and cancer.
I used to barely brush at all and it really fucked up my teeth so in fear of fillings falling out again I sometimes brush 4+ times a day. Usually just twice though.
In the morning and in the evening, and most of the time I'll chew gum after eating something during the day, or brush my teeth again, so let's say 3. I really hate having an aftertaste of anything in my mouth
Twice. Maybe more if I'm going somewhere. I only floss occasionally though. My gums get bleedy real easily, they pretty much always have. Speaking of teeths I need to get a dentist for a cleaning and wisdom teeth gum removal. :v:
I brush about like, twice a week if I feel like I want remember the eleven cavities I've already had. But I'm now flossing and brushing thanks to those cavities teaching me a lesson at least.
i brush twice a day if i'm going to college, once a day otherwise because i wake up super late and end up forgetting anyway i don't floss though. dentist never really told me to, so it never occurred to me
Guys, please fucking brush your teeth at least twice a day. There's nothing worse than talking to someone with bad breath, sometimes I even get headache from it.
Don't have the time to in the morning and I usually brush after dinner or before bed. I'm starting to get lazy again and I don't want another side cavity so I really need to get in action.
I always brush after every meal. So about 3 times a day.
Reading all the replies, I can't believe people actually don't brush their teeth... Jeezzz...
Guys, please fucking brush your teeth at least twice a day. There's a surprising amount of decayed food particle gunk between teeth and on your tongue.
Twice. Maybe more if I'm going somewhere. I only floss occasionally though. I used to have issues with my gums, I started flossing daily and they're a million times better. Bleeding gums are major sign for disease.
Just let nature take its course
I brush regularly, hardly floss but my gums have never bled
Twice a day normally, sometimes there'll be weekends or breaks where I'll only remember to do it before bed, if at all, but generally I take care of my oral health. I also floss each time, floss you fuckers, is good for you.
Usually 3 times a day, often more. I always have a bad aftertaste from foods unless I brush or take mint/mint spray/ mint strip soon after.
I brush, floss, and use mouth wash when I get up, after lunch, and before I go to sleep.
I brush regularly, hardly floss but my gums have never bled
Do they bleed if you floss though? Or do you mean when you brush they don't bleed, because there is a slight difference
I usually do it after I eat. Normally, daytime and nighttime. Sometimes 2 per day, other times would be 3.
Once in the morning with toothpaste and once in the evening without, accompanied by a floss. I've heard that some of the active ingredients in toothpaste slowly wear down your teeth and it dulls your sense of feeling so it's harder to feel if I'm getting into tight spots. [editline]30th August 2016[/editline] Oh yeah and I brush my tongue both times as well.

You'll need it for the swelling. Also, keep a bin handy just in case. Not sure if it happens to everyone, but after the surgery I nausea through the night of and the morning after.

[editline]30th August 2016[/editline] Oh yeah and I brush my tongue both times as well.
None of the toothpastes you can buy in the shop will be harmful for your teeth. There are certain special toothpastes that dentists etc. use/recommend sometimes that are meant to be used temporarily because extended use can have negative effects on your oral health. Iirc there have been some studies done on Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and how it can wear down the enamel on teeth and it's known to cause mouth ulcers and dryness for certain people. But if you buy Colgate, Zendium or Sensodyne, they're going to be perfectly safe to brush with twice in a day.
Once before bed, twice or however many times are needed if I have bad breath because of food. I always give my friend shit for washing his teeth right before going out to dinner and coffee. Like, dude, are you gonna french a girl or something? You're literaly going to eat something in 10 minutes, then drink a coffee, and then smoke a cig. Stop wasting more time!
