Not brushing your teeth is a great way to waste a lot of money on dentistry.
I brush my teeth 3+ times a day a floss after every meal. I also use mouthwash twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. I also brush my tongue and use a tongue scraper everyday.

It was. That shit knocked me out hard. I asked how long it'd take to kick in, the doc said 10 minutes and that was the last thing I remember before becoming lucid in the car.
Every night before I go to bed. Sometimes I'll give it a good once over with a wet toothbrush in the morning, but no toothpaste.
... there are people who don't brush their teeth??

you'd be surprised
i once knew someone with diabetes that didn't brush his teeth enough, the result wasn't nice
he got all of them removed recently though, now he got perfectly nice looking "fake" teeth but still, the change is drastic
Guys, please fucking brush your teeth at least twice a day. There's nothing worse than talking to someone with bad breath, sometimes I even get headache from it.
It's also important to have proper teeth brushing technique. If you don't brush properly all you get is minty shit breath and it's absolutely disgusting.

What's considered the proper technique, then? I'm pretty self-conscious about my breath and would like to know if I'm doing it right.

The general rule when brushing is to angle your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle while brushing. An electric toothbrush will be more thorough and better than a regular one and makes hard to reach places such as your wisdom teeth, molars and the inside of your teeth easier to clean.
Flossing is required, it removes food particles that are stuck inbetween your teeth and helps prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Tongue scraper is good, it helps clean your tongue but if you don't have one simply brush your tongue with your toothbrush. This should help take care of terrible breath.
Mouthwash is also a good thing to add in to your oral hygiene regiment. Don't use mouthwash before or after brushing your teeth(Unless you have some anti-bacterial mouthwash prescribed by your dentist). Using mouthwash before brushing is bad because most mouthwash brands are slightly acidic, which will temporarily weaken your teeth enamel making it easier to damage during brushing. Using it after is a waste since you're rinsing away fluoride residue left behind from your toothpaste. Instead, use mouthwash after eating lunch, it helps keep your breath fresh and helps with oral hygiene.

Also don't add any pressure when brushing your teeth with an electric toothbrush.
I remember in secondary school I never brushed my teeth
now I do in the morning (not really for health but rather social concern)
During the week I brush mine every morning but at night there's times I'm so tired I can't be bothered brushing.
The weekend I get real lax on brushing, usually only doing so if I'm going out.
Oh shit, you guys made me realize you aren't supposed to do it with the toilet brush
