In my town of about 3,000 people, there's plans to build one. And the next town over, they're building one. And the town after that, there's about 4.

Of the stereotypical foods Blueberries are my favorite. We have a lot of wild ones at my house.[/QUOTE]

Well if you go on the highway then you don't even get to see the worst of Waterbury. The backroads are pretty bad.

And this is why I like living in a tourist area. (Near downtown Mystic.)
any SMCC, CMCC, or Bates students here?
I'm considering moving to Vermont in the next couple of years. I enjoy firearms and shooting as a hobby, so a state with no idea what "Gun Control" is seems like the best option for someone who also loves maple syrup and being buried alive in snow.
What are some good areas in Vermont for living? Also, are there any universities in Vermont that specialise in or are really good for biological sciences?

Hey man, chill. Cops gotta eat right?
that seems like a really weird reason to move to a state
normally people move because of a job offer or a school or because they found a house they like or beacuse of family or something else
but just because of the gun control laws and weather?

current firearm laws in Maine are pretty loose; for example, you can buy a semi-automatic rifle that's common for the civilian market (e.g. surplus Mosin Nagants) with only a background check, and if you check out, then you are good to go

I said Vermont, yo.
Vermont is pretty everywhere (especially in the fall). It's wicked nice there and I think I might move there when I am done with things where I'm at.
Oh btw, I live in the North Eastern corner of Connecticut.

Nope. Vermont has some of the most lenient gun laws in the country
I think the only difference is NH is concealed carry, you have to get a permit in here.

It can be perfectly sunny out... then it'll start raining incredibly hard for about five minutes. Then it goes back to being sunny.
