Sam Rockwell. Without a doubt.
Sam Rockwell. Without a doubt.
He's a beast. Bruce Campbell: Cinemas original B-movie badass. Suave gentleman in real-life. Hail to the king baby.
Michael Cudlitz. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0191044/ He's great in Southland. He's one of the guys that you know the face, but not the name. He's done a lot of videogames too. He's the father of an FPer too.
Nick Nolte in The Thin Red Line. God. Damn.
Never heard anyone praise Edward James Olmos in Battlestar Galactica, although he had the best performance in the show
Arnold can't actually act. This is a fact he acknowledged early in his career and took it face on, working as a producer allowed him to tailor characters and scripts to his strengths. What he does have however, is very strong screen presence and charisma. Given the right director, Arnold can make fantastic movies (Conan the barbarian, Predator, Terminator, Total Recall)
If he didn't have an accent he'd probably be looked at a lot differently. Look at actors like Robert De Niro, he plays the same character in every damn movie but is held in this godlike esteem.
Paddy Considine. Absolutely class actor who frequently colaborates with Shane Meadows (This is England, Dead Man's Shoes) He's also in a band, starred alongside Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in Hot Fuzz and is featured in and directed the video to "Leave before the lights come on" by the Arctic Monkeys. What Kevin Spacey got an Oscar for that that's not really underrated.
I like Philip Seymour Hoffman
Goddamn he was awesome in Flawless.
donnie wahlberg usually plays minor roles but he's a much better actor than mark
steve buscemi in anything
He's hilarious in 30 Rock
This isn't really underrated per se but Rick Moranis in Spaceballs. The rest of the movie was funny, but Dark Helmet was far and away the best performance. He really made the movie.
