I got laid on 9/11.
Did you successfully crash your airplane into her World Trade Center? :smug:
Who gives a fuck what our memories were, lets ask the poor fuckers involved, not hear us bull shitting about how we heard about it, our stories are all the fucking SAME.
When I lived in Queens I saw the first and second plane hit the tower and I saw them both collapse. I was going to go to school, but my parents were like, "Fuck no. You stay here." Sadly my friend's sister died in the North Tower when it collapsed.
My memory of 9/11 is Yanks never shutting the fuck up about the event. Although this does continue throughout the year... just more-so on this day. Diddums. Someone threw a jet at you which is partially understandable on why a country would want to do that to you as well...
My dad would have been on Flight 93 (the one that crashed in Pennsylvania, New York to San Francisco) But he decided to take a later flight because he didn't want to wake up earlier. Dodged a bullet eh? Oh and he just told the story about how the radios said there was a bomb in the Empire State Building

The school day had just started. I vividly remember looking out the window and seeing a plane (presumably coming in for a landing, extremely low might I add) and then just thinking "something is weird about today"....but the day went on. Weird how my school day went on when I live in NH (I say that because I live in NH and 1.NH is on the east coast (duh) 2. NH is 4-5hrs away from NYC 3.Pretty much every school on the east coast (especially schools in states even semi-close to NYC) closed early for safety reasons, and so it's weird that my school didn't....though I don't think anyone knew about it at the time). Then I when I arrive home, my feeling was confirmed. My mom was crying and the TV obviously was showing what the fuck had happened. I felt pretty sad. The next day, we had a very emotional moment of silence at school.
I was in elementary school and didn't care.
I was in elementary school and didn't care.
I was in preschool and I didn't care I'm 12 :smug: [editline]06:55PM[/editline] and proud
it was 3rd grade and i had no clue what was happening, some kids were picked up by their parent s early, i wasnt..
I went like "ga ga". I was a baby then.
Whats 9/11?
I lol'd. but then I felt bad.
From the lmao pic thread... :P
I was sick. And I missed school and didn't know anything had happened for another, like, 2 days, because my parents "SHEILDED ME FROM DA TROOF" and everybody at school was like "GAH PLANES... SAD STORY fAMILY AMERICA SAD" and nobody was really making any sense.
werent there like two planes or something [editline]10:17PM[/editline] and they like crashed into the white house
My mom had my dad drive me from school to home. I was too young to really care, so I don't remember much.
Was driving to NYC to pick up my mom, while on the Brooklyn Bridge we saw the first tower fall down. Both me and my dad went 'Oh shi- at the same time.
I was homescooled at the time. My mom was in the living room with the tv on and crying.
I didn't see anything because I was in ISS, for riding a bike in the school hallways and making a officer trip over something while he was chasing me.
I was in fourth grade I think. I remember seeing it on the T.V before I went to school and thinking, "This is gonna end one of two ways. We're going to war, or our country is doomed." Seems both have come true. Never. Forget.
I was in 3rd grade, my mom was pregnant at the time and was expecting the baby any time now. So my dad picks me up really early and I get in the car, and he didn't say anything, and I'm like "Did mom have the baby yet?". And then he was like no, so we finally got home and saw the thing playing over and over again on TV and I was like "Whoa shit". So 9 days later my brother was born. Aside from that, I don't remember that much, I was too young to fully interpret what had happened, I knew people died, and I guess I just didn't feel as harsh about it as I would now. At school today, we have a monument out in the courtyard with a new piece of metal beam, and one from the wreckage and it's formed in a V, today our history teacher (A very Pro-American man) took each period out to put flags around it and have a moment of silence. Aside from that we really didn't even discuss it.. Kind of sad how quickly people forget. I just hope it never happens again.
My memories: I'm home, back from school, wanted to see cartoons and got pissed because all channels were talking about it.
My memories: I woke up in the morning, and I had no idea where it was and what it was. I was 8. Also it is my girlfriend's 16th.
I argued with my bro about how an airplane could cause a building to fall, and about the design.
I was walking home from school, I was young. My dad was at the mailbox, picking up the magazine in mailbox. I was like: HEYYYY DAAAAAAAAD :buddy:. And said: Not right now son...something bad has happened. I got a glimpse of the magazine and saw fire, thought nothing of it... I mean, we're America, NOTHING bad can happen to us! Then I watched TV... :frown: Also my dad kicks ass.
i was 12(?) and didn't really get it. i'd spent my whole life not knowing terrorism was even a thing, so it took about a week for it to hit me and then i was like "oh that sucks."
i was around 7-8 years old and i remember coming home from school and the conversation was seriously like this Mom: Hey 2 airliners crashed into the world trade centre Me: Oh no, where did it happen? Mom: In New York City Me: oh thats not good Mom: i know Me: well whats for dinner? and basically it was just another normal night
Add 3 years to 8, simple math, you were 11.
I got laid 9/11 2004
I doubt it.
2001. It was before the attacks though.
You came before the attacks hit? That must of been awkward.
