I posted some LD quotes as my Facebook status today, my poetic friend asked me about them so I sent him King park. About 2 hours later he told me "I think I found my new obsession"

why?
why?
Because I enjoy the music and felt that the quote was a good way of summing up my opinion on something, whats it matter to you?
hey guyz im so kool n edgy let me post a lyric from a indie band to make myself look musikally supirior to all thez plebs on face buck

So I post a lyric from a song I like that describes how I feel on my own personal profile and suddenly I talk liek diz all teh time and I'm acting musically superior? Seriously grow up mate. I mean to me it's like poetry, so I like sharing it, and my friends like it, what the fuck is the issue and why does it make me an idiot?
My god, King Park is terrifying. In fact, every song since King Park is beautifully unnerving in it's own way. Reminds me a lot of the Last Lost Continent lyricwise, I guess they liked how that turned out. Not that I'm complaining.
punched some stuff today
blaring la dispute
Oh boy, this band again huh?
It's incredible how much they've blown up since the time I was really into them (and no, I don't say that as a "I heard them before they were popular"). The last release I listened to by them was Somewhere At The Bottom of The River, which I thought was fucking fantastic. Haven't really kept up with them since that though. And Vancouver fucking rules.
BUT. I'm getting sick of this wave. Touché Amore fucking suck. And I really fucking hate that all lonely teenage girls are milking the shit out of this band, that actually is amazing. But I get so mad when I hop on youtube and see 609249 acoustic covers of Such Small Hands by waves and waves of teenage girls. I'm sorry but it makes me feel dirty for listening to these guys.
Now, I'm off to listen to Wildlife.
I like Touche Amore. :(
What's wrong with them?
King Park has great lyrics, but the song itself is boring as fuck until the end comes with the "CAN I STILL GET INTO HEAVEN IF I KILL MYSELF?" part, so whenever I'm listening to the song I just end up waiting for that part.
I love said the king to river just for the "Rise! said the king to the river!/Rise! said the boy to his lover!"
parts.

Whats the point of having the orgasm without the foreplay?
The Here, Hear EPs are some of their best work, so relaxing.

But the constant build-ups and releases! And the story! :(

I find the whole song to be extremely awesome, one of their best works probably. There just isn't a boring part in that whole song. I mean you can't possibly say thats the only part you like because "TONIGHT WE RIIIIIIIIDDEE!"
The entire song is brilliant, but that part is just so great.

Yea the part where the guitar speeds up and then the song just explodes is perfect. Probably the best part.
I just recently checked out make do and mend and was surprised to find the lead singer of la dispute doing guest vocals in one of the songs.
Great album also.
Holy shit I just realised this band is playing up the street from me in a month, for only $25. I think I might have to go.
if you don't go, i'll mail you a picture of my middle finger.
wish touche amore or la dispute were on the glamous kills tour

This may be my favourite song of theirs.
That and king park are my two top favorite.
I don't know why but the line "Neither wooden nor stone" just sticks. It's so catchy
My friend asked me to make a dubstep remix of a La Dispute song for their birthday. I decided I'm going to mix Such Small hands and turn it into Such Deep Bass :v:
ahahahaahha wow really?

I prefer St Paul Missionary Baptist Church Blues, also the entire second half of the album is overall better than the first half IMO.

Everyone says that, I see it like this, both halves are equally good but I find it hard to compare the two halves of the album on either side of the huuuugggee tone shift that is "a Poem".
Also, best song on the album

Feel free to disagree ;)
