That's not how it works. God can't see the future, and still let us have a choice. If he can see the future, he knows what mistakes we will make, and he still sentences us. Doesn't work like that.
You are looking at God with limitations, IE "He can't see into the future, etc etc." He knows what choice you will chose from the beginning, and it was originally the Jews' job to tell others about what miracles that came to them, and about Jesus, but they didn't tell anyone and wanted the miracles for themselves. And look what happened over the years to Jewish people.
so a magical being up in space made earth 10,000 years ago? so there are artifacts, that predate earth by many years, acording to your theory.
yes and no artifacts of God. Zero. A good excuse for this is in the bible they say that "Jesus is the last prophet" good fucking excuse to why the world is so fucked up. Moses never existed, There was no "burning bush" there was no parting of the red sea, there was no ten commandments, there was no Lazerus rising from the dead. Why don't those things happen now? because the bible is FICTION.
And we'll burn for all eternity in a lake of fire and sodomy, but God loves us. If I ever have a kid, rather than just caring for it, I'm gonna think up some ridiculous guidelines for it to follow and never enlighten it about it. And if it doesn't discover my mysterious plan for it and follow it to the letter, I'm gonna put it through unspeakable amounts of agony. It's what's best for my child.
Clearly. I mean, what else is more traumatizing to do to a child right? Toughens him up for real life.
He knows what choice you will chose from the beginning
Then it has been predecided and is not free will.
Seems to me like god is our master, and we're the slaves.
Who's slave would you rather be: God's or Satan's?
Who's slave would you rather be: God's or Satan's?
Satan has beer and hookers.
You are looking at God with limitations, IE "He can't see into the future, etc etc." He knows what choice you will chose from the beginning, and it was originally the Jews' job to tell others about what miracles that came to them, and about Jesus, but they didn't tell anyone and wanted the miracles for themselves.
Who's slave would you rather be: God's or Satan's?
Satan's. He's not a stuck-up asshole.
funny enough, there is a plant that grows in desert environments known to have hallucinogenic effects IIRC.
Satan has beer and hookers.
Satan probably has technology too, seeing as Christians think technology is the devil. I think Satan is probably a really cool guy. Like Sanguine from Oblivion.
Have a little respect. I know it's pushy, but you have to understand that they really think that if you don't accept Jesus, you will burn in hell and agony. I know, me, nor you believe such a thing, but Christians do, and they just want to save you from that. It's annoying, yes, but, I guess it's their way of showing they care.
Hey man, there's a truck right behind you. Yeah, I know neither of us can see it, hear it, feel it, or smell it, but I'm just going to pester you about it for the rest of your life, m'kay?
Satan's. He's not a stuck-up asshole.
Yes. If I HAD to blindly worship someone, I would blindly worship Satan.
Who's slave would you rather be: God's or Satan's?
The one that tells you outright your going to suffer, not the one that lies to you, and then makes you suffer after you put yourself through hell to do what was right. I mean Satan. God is a Sadist to the farthest extent.
Satan's. He's not a stuck-up asshole.
And he likes fire. I too like fire, therefore, I like satan.
And we'll burn for all eternity in a lake of fire and sodomy, but God loves us.
Satan's. He's not a stuck-up asshole.
And Lucifer is hot.
Clearly. I mean, what else is more traumatizing to do to a child right? Toughens him up for real life. [editline]07:59PM[/editline] Then we never had a choice. Don't tell us to be open minded when you will do the opposite and close your mind to reason.
I'm not sure if I get your point but when I say "Care for it." I don't mean shielding it from the world completely, that's not parenting, it's pet ownership.
Satan probably has technology too, seeing as Christians think technology is the devil. I think Satan is probably a really cool guy. Like Sanguine from Oblivion.
I bet hell has hovercars and shit.
This will fix it all. Promise.
He says otherwise. OP loses.
He loves you, but that is what will happen if you do not obey Him and not accept Him.
We've all already decided to obey and accept Satan, so this thread is more or less irrelevant now.
Who's slave would you rather be: God's or Satan's?
Satan, quite frankly. All i know is that Satan is "bad", god has all of these limitations and has just told me that Satan is supposedly bad. I'd rather try my luck and have fun in life than live a life of boredom with an afterlife of boredom.
He loves you, but that is what will happen if you do not obey Him and not accept Him.
Religion convinced the world that there's an invisible man in the sky who watches everything you do. And there's 10 things he doesn't want you to do or else you'll to to a burning place with a lake of fire until the end of eternity. But he loves you! - George Carlin. My hero.
I'm not sure if I get your point but when I say "Care for it." I don't mean shielding it from the world completely, that's not parenting, it's pet ownership.
I was being sarcastic. I think raising someone with the threat of hellfire is traumatic, and can ruin lifes, and no doubt has. There's evidence of people having their lives ruined because of that. As a child.
Also I choose to not accept god or satan. What now?
You are looking at God with limitations, IE "He can't see into the future, etc etc." He knows what choice you will chose from the beginning, and it was originally the Jews' job to tell others about what miracles that came to them, and about Jesus, but they didn't tell anyone and wanted the miracles for themselves. And look what happened over the years to Jewish people.
In other words: We have no free will, or future is set and there is nothing we can do about it. Which is true. You have a free will, but not really. But using that as an excuse for not doing anything is still retarded. Everything you say do, mean think and everything is all just based on previous experience and the current surroundings and how you are teached to behave with those surroundings (which is basically previous experience).
Also I choose to not accept god or satan. What now?
Odin is pissed
one of the 10 commandments is "thou shall not kill" yet the bible says god killed over 33 million people. hm
I am going to hell. And will meet the most bad ass motherfuckers there.
And Lucifer was hot.
Fixed. He's hideous now after what God did to him, but then again, he, along with angels from both Heaven and Hell, can take any form.
