AROUND 10,000. That means as far as 16,000 down to 9,000
That makes no sense.
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence.
I believe that God died in a car-accident.
AROUND 10,000. That means as far as 16,000 down to 9,000
you're still stupid
Scientists used carbon dating to date an allosaurus bone, and it dated back only 16,000 years.
Source, now. Otherwise snip that post.
AROUND 10,000. That means as far as 16,000 down to 9,000
So how do you explain things that have been carbon dated at millions of years old?
Be mature about this.
If the Universe is only 10,000 years old, how could Scientists find something older than the Universe itself?
God can do anything remember? :downs:
If the Universe is only 10,000 years old, how could Scientists find something older than the Universe itself?
Obviously god put things there to get rid of the non-faithful!
AROUND 10,000. That means as far as 16,000 down to 9,000
Next time tell me around 15,000 and [sarcasm]I am going to believ you[/sarcasm]
If the Universe is only 10,000 years old, how could Scientists find something older than the Universe itself?
scientists are lying satanists who want to destroy the good christian america
what the fuck is the op's point?
AROUND 10,000. That means as far as 16,000 down to 9,000
Ummm, thats a 6,000 margin on one side, and 1 1,000 margin on the other? Uhuh.
So how do you explain things that have been carbon dated at millions of years old?
Carbon dating is only accurate to around 65000~ years. Still, either way, it proves him wrong.
I thought the crusades had something about religion in them? The wars were not only because of religion but I thought religion played a part in it. Also, just because they call one thing a Behemoth doesn't mean it was dinosaur size. They may not have even known dinosaurs ever existed, but a behemoth could be an elephant. An elephant is a heck of a lot larger than a human, so it is easy to think that something that big is a 'behemoth' when you have nothing else to compare it to. The carbon dating of a dinosaur bone only being 16,000 years old can be ONE SPECIFIC example of a bone. I can carbon date my dog and say she has only lived x amount of years, but that doesn't mean that all dogs were created X amount of years and not any timer sooner.
AROUND 10,000. That means as far as 16,000 down to 9,000
We have dated things back into the millions of years
Be mature about this.
Answer my damn question. What about things that have been carbon dated at millions of years old? I will continue to repeat until you answer.
Source, now. Otherwise snip that post.
At this point I think he's trolling us.
Hurr durr? You are telling me that dinosaurs were before the earth was created? :science:
Winner winner chicken dinner... Thread over you can all go home.
Here OP: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiometric_dating Educate yourself.
Be mature about this.
Be mature about such a ridiculous idea? Yeah sure.

This is outdated. it dates from 1990

Yes because technology hasn't advanced since 1990. :downs:
At this point I think he's trolling us.
Maybe if we stop our fingers he'll go back to his bridge.
"The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence."
Sorry, that's not how it works with science.
So radiometric dating is all a lie!? Dinosaurs never existed?!
I thought the crusades had something about religion in them? The wars were not only because of religion but I thought religion played a part in it. Do the willows of the brook surround him? 23 Behold, he plunders the river, and [he] does not harden; he trusts that he will draw the Jordan into his mouth. 24 With His eyes He will take him; with snares He will puncture his nostrils.
Carbon dating is only accurate to around 65000~ years. Still, either way, it proves him wrong.
Thorium can be used to date things much older than carbon-14 can, but I think it's only used on corals and such. Yeah, Th-230: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranium-thorium_dating
Uranium-thorium dating has an upper age limit of somewhat over 500,000 years, defined by the half-life of thorium-230, the accuracy with which we can measure the thorium-230/uranium-234 ratio in a sample, and the precision to which we know the half-lives of thorium-230 and uranium-234. Note that to calculate an age using this technique the ratio of uranium-234 to its parent isotope uranium-238 must also be measured.

I have a form from the university of Facepunch that says you are wrong.
