Some day, but not anytime soon.
On a different note, how is everyone in this thread talking about torrenting "Linux distros" not banned for hinting at warez?

Hell, he could be a mod anytime there is a need. If his posts are good, and he would suit the job.
Join date doesn't matter.

Pretty obvious that they're not using Isohunt for Linux distros.

Not all torrents are warez, they can be used to download perfectly legal things easier than if they had not used a torrent.

His posts aren't good
Anyway, I was wondering if it was possible to find your first posts anymore? Not threads, but posts. I'm sure they're archived or something, but the way the view your posts system limits it to 200 or so posts kind of cripples any ability to do that.

Because I actually download legal Linux distros?
I guess I could volunteer, I'll just need to come on facepunch for an hour a day.
No biggy, the only day I can't do it is Thursdays.
Not to shoot you down here, but your not really that close to becoming a mod, A) Mod's aren't going out right now B) there'd be a few people on the list ahead of you to becoming a mod.
question Which moderator has the most recent join date, to rephrase, which moderator has been on the forums the least amount of time?

I didn't say they were. I was just saying that in the occasion that they were and a mod was need, his join date wouldn't hold him back.
I think there should be a report option for every rule. I feel like my reports are going unheard.
That would a too long and inconvenient. If it isn't one of the three, I just use 'spam'.
The only important thing is that the moderators' attention is drawn to the post.
I saw a post in one of the custom forums that was clearly warez, no ban was ever delivered.
There is a warez option in the report menu, so I don't see what you are getting at.

I'm sure lots of people torrent legal Linux distros, but how many people have over a terabyte of Linux distros or search for "old and obscure" distros?
I think there should be a report option for every rule. I feel like my reports are going unheard.
I agree, but generally you can just report a post and the mods will check it out, the reason is really superficial these days.
Meh I find it very unlikley people will even mention the name "CounterTunes" I'll stay as the guy who just post.
No mod name beats psp401.com

"Linux distros" is used by some as a humorous term for warez that goes completely past the mods.
[editline]04:48AM[/editline]
And not every Linux version is free.

I remember that was one of the first things I said for an instant -50 smartness.
Derp.

I personally meant, I reported warez, but for whatever reason they were never banned.
Wether it was just a mod skipped over it, or no one else reported (it takes 2 reports for a mod to chase it up), I was left with the feeling that me reporting was useless.

I wasn't asking, it was more questioning than asking.
I would like to see that too, I don't think there is one a part from the google facepunch search, but we need 1-??? buttons like in all the subjects

Maybe an "other" button could be installed
Like you select other and a type box comes up, you type your reason, submit and Bam, mod/admin comes in and bans the person. It may be mis-used. Sometimes people may report users for stupid things like in the photoshop comp area people may just report someone for using mspaint, which is pathetic there's no real proof behind what is which

Ok, I see what you are saying now. Just didn't make sense at first because you quoted someone saying something entirely different.
(Hopefully) Mods get quite a few reports, and it is possible they may have missed it.
Does the raided guy honestly think that he is going to prosecute the Facepunchers who partook in that raid on the TF2 community?

I seriously doubt it. He is just throwing out an empty threat in an attempt to scare the participants.
A bluff, if you will.

If you check the thread where the golds have been following it quite closely, it appears he's stupid enough to actually believe he's going to get money out of someone.
Maybe he's just ignorant then. It was a pretty stupid move on the raiders' part.

Just read a chatlog where he mentioned he'd sent his IP log file to the FBI :downs:

Is that in the GMF?
Also, on his website he posted a log of where he demanded money from Hezzy. The raid was stupid and the raiders deserved the permaban, but the guy can't honestly think he's going to get cash.
Is it necessary to permaban Gold Members who appeal bans less than a week? I get that it would be annoying, having to read some idiotic stuff about how they don't deserve their day or so ban, but couldn't you just increase it to a month ban and stop them appealing/ignore them?
I saw an 07 Gold Member who got perma'd for appealing his 3 day ban, felt bad for him.
Some people on the Mac Forums actually have a good use for sigs, which is to list your Mac specs.
I'm all for saying no to sigs on Facepunch, though.

er perhaps what you're seeing in the event log is goldies being permabanned for replying to other people's RC threads whilst breaking some rule

I hadn't thought of that/forgot Gold Members could do that...
