Higher? Um, No?
I'm not Benji or Hez-I mean Mr. Gaspato, But the post count is already incredibly high, Why would we need it higher?
2000 Posts is showing some Major Dedication to the Forums.
3 posts a day isn't really that much
He probably thinks of it in bulk, rather then over time.
I think if anything, it should be the time limit not the postcount that is increased. It would make a better idiot filter. Although, the RC does a pretty good job of that anyway.
Can moderators move threads in their section that they moderate to sections they don't moderate? For example can Jimbomcb move a thread from GGD to Garry's Mod Discussion?
I would be inclined to say yes, but I will need further clarification from a mod.
Is flaming acceptable if you've got a legit reason behind it? I can understand "you're a fucking moron" being banable, but how about "You're a fucking moron because of..."? Like if you fit it into your argument.

No, it is not acceptable. You can just state your point without the "fucking moron part".

Oh well, didn't think so anyways, just clarifying. Rule enforcement on that's gotta be pretty lax though, I don't see a ton of flaming bans where it seems like there would be (see: above)
EDIT: Scratch that, he got banned
It was probably missed. Report it when you see it to help out.
How bout this, why is a Lockerz megathread permitted when i've seen people get banned over that kind of stuff? Is it just to keep it all in one location to prevent it from shitting up other topics?
What do you mean by "that kind of stuff"?
What do you mean by "that kind of stuff"?
Individual Lockerz thread and other referral based sites. Is the megathread permitted because it's not a referral so much as just an information thread?
Well, those thread were locked and users were banned because the other thread was there.
He doesn't force you to use the referral, he has a worthwhile amount of information, and it is beneficial for everyone.

I swear i've seen the individual threads get banned for "lockerz/referral scam" or something like that, but maybe i'm mistaken.
And kk, that explains it then. I don't think i've got any other stupid questions, but maybe i'll come up with something later.
Why does Gold Member require such High post count?
It's just ridiculous.
You have almost half the posts you require and another year before you can even become Gold Member. 2000 posts is not ridiculous.
Don't get banned then, idiot.
(User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - Benji))
Haha, the irony.

Yes, we can.
Sometimes troublesome though, accidental moves need to be moved back by a moderator in the receiving section.

It's not that hard at all, I made 2k posts in 6 months with ease, and I don't really go on Facepunch that much, compared to how much I'm on computer overall.
With good reason as well.
What is that reason?
There wasn't nearly enough content to warrant a sub-forum.
Well, If you put it that way, It Isnt that hard, I just need to post, Like 15 Times a day like you.
It would be just some faggots making tutorials about toasting toast
You don't need 21k posts, you need 2000.

Keeping in mind I did mine in 6 months, so you could post a quarter of what I do per day and get there on time, or you could simply wait 3 years or whatever it takes... Or do something crazy/great and get Gold instantly for that.
[editline]02:49AM[/editline]
I don't consider myself that much of a poster... My friends lurk more than me, but people like B1N4ARY and prismatexv8 get 20+ posts per day.
Yes, we can.

So wait, you guys actually have no power outside of the areas you're supposed to moderate? As in say daijitsu couldn't ban someone in the Games section even if he tried?
Arts Moderators can only ban and moderate in the Arts section, Daijutsu or Perfumly are no more powerful than you are outside of their sections.

I guess, But once it's done, It's done, As soon as I have 2000, I don't have to post every change I get, I can just lurk around, But it shouldn't change how I post.
I didn't post more to hit my 2000 faster... I just post when I feel like it, I didn't post more before I got 2000, and I haven't posted less since I achieved 2000.
[editline]02:53AM[/editline]
Though it does loom over me that I have 18 months to burn before I get gold member, it doesn't bother me too much.

It's not that hard.
Debating rises up your post count really quickly, and you don't even notice.
Ignore my Post Per Day count, I barely posted when I joined and only lurked.
getting 2000 posts is really easy
