My idea is to take the map size of Oblivion Daggerfalls, put in an awesome engine like Crysis, MMOFPSRPG where you have usefull skills that you can level up like in runscape(those skills are shit tho) and have a gun leveling system like MGS4, add Zomnie and giant monsters like in Monster Hunter, plus a shit load of weapons and vehicles and wah lah, epic MMOFPSRPG.
Freeroam with good story and alot of freedom in choice of story evolvement and style of gameplay.
You obviously don't know about one of the greatest threads ever
I know and I regret knowing about something so stupid.
A Solid Snake and Sam Fisher team up. With zombies, espionage, a fuck load of guns, and bad assness.
gta 4 gameplay + lost cause 2 engine + left 4 dead zombeez = epicness
A Bioshock prequel set during the civil war. Also I seem to remember an MMO zombie game in development set on an island, but it seems to have disappeared. Nevermind. It's called Dead Island and it's single player.
Duke Nukem Forever. Too bad that will never happen.
A war game as big as the real world with points of interest(so people know where fights are) and the choice to fly/drive/float to that point or just fast travel. Also a dynamic frontline which moves with the won/lost battles.
A video game adaptation of this movie
Garry's Mod + Unreal Engine
A video game adaptation of this movie
This. A millenium worth of THIS.
What the fuck, that movie looks like a combination of everything awesome rolled into one delicious morsel of film.
Actually the majority of movie games suck so it wouldn't be epic at all.
I've dreamed about a game like that for years. A huge, zombie-filled city with a few heavily guarded outposts here and there where the other survivors are. You get to an outpost, load up with ammo, guns and shit, get together with a few friends and go slaughtering zombies in the city. Why haven't anyone done this?
BrainBread was somewhat like this. It was coming to Source, but the team died (Not literally) and everyone forgot about it.
A mix between Just Cause 2 (the world, the place, the gameplay) and Red Faction Guerilla (able to destroy almost anything) together with a multiplayer mode with atleast a freeroam mode and not looking like it was made in 4 days. Should be available without a drm that annoys the shit out of everyone except pirates and it must not be abandoned after releasing 2 minor patches. Developers should look like they actually give a shit about their players and not money hungry. The game should be below 50 euros/dollars.
A combined MMO-FPS-RTS. There would be two levels of play: RTS and FPS. The majority would be FPS, where millions of players would play as soldiers on the frontline in either the US, Russian, European or Chinese army, which they would choose upon start up or are assigned to based on shortages or location. The player would also choose their military career path- that is, anything from artillery, anti-air, drone operating, air bombing, ground forces, recon, anything, and would be able to customize their weaponry to an extent. They would be able to change their position at will every time they die. Extra points would be awarded to those who join careers that are in short supply of individuals. 100 different maps of fair size would be the battlefield- the Russians and Chinese would advance in Europe and Alaska. Each map would represent a place on the front- as one team wins on a map and advance to the enemy base, then the battle begins at the map behind it. It would represent proper frontline movement that way. Once all enemy capitals/major cities were captured, the game would start over, though chances of that are very very low. If one doesn't feel like being a soldier, then they can be a commander. An RTS. As a commander, you would control the overall battlefield- that is, where to put troops, how many, what kind, where to deploy exactly in the map, point out enemies to ground troops, make suggestions and point out movements on the battlefield to soldiers (who would recieve more points for following orders, though they wouldn't have to). All this would be seen in an RTS-lie overview. This would be the ULTIMATE WAR GAME ARRRGH and it would be awesome. It is possible, but there are no engines that would work well with it yet, it would take alot of work, and of course there would need to be a lot of people on to play it well, like WoW or MW2 amounts of people.
I like your idea, but what about faggots who think they can just go commander and ruin everything?
Woops misread. Commanders would be rewarded based on how much their orders help/destroy the enemy, and how many wins they get as commander. There would be several commanders per game, so it would be impossible for a single person to fuck everything up.
Battlefield 2 + today's best graphics

How bout a battletoads remake?
I've always wanted a game where you're on a planet that was like used for a giant landfill, and you're basically free roaming, and you go through the trash and find materials to improvise weapons and build anything you can think of, with an engine that makes each creation unique, down to the slightest change of position of any pieces you use. Basically a knockoff of Stranded, but with limitless possibilities, which is most indeed- impossible.
pussy
I would like a game where it's identical to real life except without consequences. Like GTA but without missions and the best possible graphics.
