This fucking game, been years since I've played it, but I can still remember basically every line from it. Just don't play the US version, was censored to hell and back.
All time #1 favorite game, still plays like butter, still feels like a genuine place, Atomika still makes me laugh, soundtrack kicks ass, powder pete is still awesome, go fucking play this game right now
It's so weird seeing how old that game looks now compared to back when I first played it.
[T]https://fanboydestroy.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/the-last-story-cover.jpg[/T] This game is fucking great. Its very Final Fantasy, both in gameplay and music, The Last Story is a tale about a group of mercenaries that work towards becoming knights, and in the process, they discover the cold, dark world of nobility, the age old conflict between humans and Gurak, and the cause of the land's decay. The characters are a very large part of why I love this game so much. Over the course of the game, you slowly learn more about the mercenaries and their pasts, and their reasons for fighting. They all have their different personalities and quirks. You have a cold and cynical mage, an alcoholic swordswoman, a playboy, a gentle hippie, a focused and ambitious leader, a runaway princess, and then you, the player. These characters really tie the game together. The combat is really fun as well. The combat isn't as hack-n-slash as it might seem, and you actually need to slow down and think about the battle before you rush into it. You can hide behind objects and deliver sneak attacks, or you could draw the enemies away while your allies kick the shit out of them. Overall rating 11/10 its perfect. [editline]21st March 2015[/editline] Oh yeah you can literally dye the mercenary's clothes invisible so you can fight lizards and fish-people in your underwear while swinging around a fuck-huge sword
Honestly the best part was seeing that kiss scene with the stupid fucking huge dragon armor on and having the helmet clip through the princess's face. I wish that the online community is more active, because I miss being a helpful operator.
I liked the previous games better, although I have yet to play 4 and FA. I just couldn't get into 5 and VD. But on the general sure sucks when no one you know played the series :( [editline]26th March 2015[/editline]
[T]https://fanboydestroy.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/the-last-story-cover.jpg[/T] This game is fucking great. Have heard nothing but good things for that game.
[t]http://vividgamer.com/wp-content/gallery/asamu-screens/star_haven_village.jpg[/t] A Story About My Uncle. It was kinda easy and kinda short, but i have a soft spot for it.
I can't find a stable copy of this game anywhere. But this was one of my most nostalgic RTS' ever that no one played. Brutally difficult and tense battles. Its one of those games where, everything has resources, your infantry have ammunition, Tanks have fuel and munitions, once its gone, INCREDIBLY difficult to replenish those resources. It was so tactical and force you to think and plan attacks very carefully. Most battles would put you against brutal odds that would mince meat your forces in seconds if you weren't careful. How ever in turn, you could brutally fuck over the enemies with a well aimed artillery strike. It made victory all the more satisfying for my 12 year old mind when I got into this game.
I had a love for flight games when I was a kid Energy airforce aimstrike was pretty good, pretty much dcs on ps2 without the engine management I've also played a game that was pretty much il2 on easy with jet fighters, called strike fighters 2
The suffering
No-one I know has played this gem. One of the best RPG maker games I've played so far.
guild wars (1) with its expansions were such great games...
[t]http://www.emuparadise.me/PSX/Covers/Akuji%20-%20The%20Heartless%20[U]%20[SLUS-00715]-front.jpg[/t] Dark, bloody, and really, really unique. The enemies and levels were freaky but cool.
[t] http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f5/Kodp_cover.png/256px-Kodp_cover.png [/t] Oh boy. One of my favorite games of all times. It's pretty hard to describe the game because of how much you can do in it. You are in charge of a developing village and have to do your best to keep people from starving or opponents from destroying you. The lore in the game is pretty rich and there are many random events after every action you take, a good bunch of them trying to screw you over. Art wise the game is beautiful and there are many ways to play it. You can either be a peaceful clan and try to solve problems by diplomacy or you can be a hostile clan and raid other clans for food and goods. Also, the most common used currency is cows. It's also all text based, so it's pretty relaxing to play. Combat consists of only deciding on the strategy and then seeing if it worked or not in the results screen. The random events have huge variety and can either be trivial like "A thief stole something. What do you want to do with him?" or be a big problem when it involves other clans and could result in war breaking out if the wrong decision is made. Lore-wise the game plays in a fantasy world. There are gods, dwarfs and everything else you could expect in a fantasy world. The gods have a pretty big role and require sacrifices (cows, goods, items) to be in your favor. Those favors consist of having better chances at war or yielding more crops from fields and many, many more. The game is available on GoG. Beware that the game can be chore on big screens, as the resolution doesn't really support more than 800x600. There are also updated versions for phones, but they are pretty expensive and mainly have a better interface than the original PC version.
No one I know of knows this series, and it's a shame.

Also, I remember when I was a kid I would invite other kids from my class over to my house and we'd just play the multiplayer mode for this game all day and dick around. Shit was fun as fuck yo.

One of the finest racing games that barely anyone who isn't a fan has ever heard of. I recently completed it and god damn, it is the level of difficulty games need to be.
Me and my sister used to play this all the time in the late 90's early 00

God damn looking these up and seeing screenshots just gave me a huge wave of nostalgia. I have such fond memories of these games, though I think that's also because I loved watching my dad play them. The parts I remember the most are climbing mount fuji for the chain pipe, being shrunken down, talking to the lizard man in the well, and of course
