Thread of April 2011. Trolls or autistic faggotry?
Why must Facepunch assume that every stupid person who comes here having something to say is a troll? You guys were like this to that Blake kid. Not saying the Spicy Tornado is stupid but still...
They want to play it safe so that they don't feel stupid when said "troll" realizes the opportunity to turn the whole thing around and appeal not-so-stupid now that he's a troll
For all we know some of those twenty one parties were in fact being sarcastic. I can imagine... “This was simply astounding. Simply the level of DETAIL in the artwork just leaves me... SPEECHLESS. I applaud your... effort in making these short knee slappers.” I'm not fully believing that this person exists. I'm really hoping that this is just an elaborate joke that made its way on to the internet and leaked on to Facepunch. Sir this is not a sea of hate. I'd like to say this is a sea of realism. Somewhat. I would hope the more thought out posts would be a slap to the face for you. Maybe a wake up call from the internet. If you want to make this profitable I would examine the actual content of the popular comics. And I mean the POPULAR ones. VGCats and Fanboys for example. There's a consistency and there's a formula. Two things which your comic lacks. I know you want to be edgy and original. And that's cool. The popular webcomics can always manage to be original and edgy in their own way. Yours have many issues. Number one there aren't any characters. Number two there's no set tone or guideline. Not just for the reader but also yourself.
there's no way in hell this will be at the very least reasonably profitable
I will [sp]generously[/sp] buy out your website for $50 right now. Only other condition is that you stop making comics. PM me if interested, this is a serious offer.
Absolutely not. I don't care if you met me at an undisclosed Denny's yielding a briefcase containing $50,000. My dream is not for sale. And even if it were, what the heck would $50 dollars do for me? That's not even a lot these days. I'm still appalled that some people think I'm a fake person just because I have the guts to follow my dream. I also can't figure out why most of you are so certain I'll fail. I mean, Einstein flunked out of school and Michael Jordan got cut from the varsity team as a fifteen year old and look what they went on to do. I'm not saying I'm as talented as them, but I truly believe in my brother and I. Like I said, I have about three months until my savings run out. It's do or die time and I do. As for my informal survey, I realize that the results are not scientific. But, I have additional evidence that Spicy Tornado is destined for greatness. My comics have been shared on Facebook a cumulative total of 90 times. So if you take the 21 from my survey that found it funny and the 90 instances where my comics were shared on Facebook, that's a grand total of 121 people that really enjoy my comic (not to mention several family members). Not bad for a new webcomic. I really do appreciate all the feedback, and I do plan on taking some of it to heart. I'm always striving to improve as a person, both mentally and spiritually. I'm sorry if I've ever come off as bitter or ungrateful. You guys seem like a wonderful community. I'm fond of you all. With love, Jasper
90 + 21 = 121? Not only is your comic a failure, so is your ability to perform basic arithmetic.
90 + 21 = 121? Not only is your comic a failure, so is your ability to perform basic arithmetic.
Ok, 111. I've been up for almost 24 hours, so cut me some slack. By the way, I got a 520 on my math SAT, so obviously I can perform basic arithmetic. I really try to stay positive in the face of hatred, but why did you have to point that out in such a mean way?
Whatever happened to him anyway? He stopped making new comics
A new comic will be posted on Spicy Tornado tomorrow (Tuesday).
(not to mention several family members).
"not to mention" Not counted in the 121 figure. But you admitted your mistake, I'll give you credit for that.

With love, Jasper
You're assuming all those people thoroughly read all your comics and shared them because they liked them. Its possible that those people didn't like them or find them entertaining and shared them for [not saying they all did] the purpose of “haha look at this shit” plus if they did like it its possible they only liked that single one. Pretty much the equivalent of when somebody “like”s a statement or page on facebook. I hate getting your possibly fake hopes down but what I'm trying to say is that you really need to take every statistic you see with a grain of salt. The more you expect the worse the easier it will be to improve if you are real. Oh and Einstein dropped out of school because he knew it would only slow him down and he knew for sure that his IQ was far above the norm. Ill be honest I'm not too sure about Michael Jordans backstory but I know that his career probably began because he could prove that he had talent or something. Bottom line is that if this is the greatest you can do then start job hunting. You should have a current steady income if you want to support your own comic and yourself if you exist.

why are you guys falling for this again
why are you guys falling for this again
I'm like seventy percent sure this is fake. For gods sakes I'm fifteen and I could make better decisions than this man who is somehow ten years older [when he has the mentality of someone ten years younger]

Dear mister SpicyTornado: You should read these articles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_fail#Internet_memes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll I am sure you will see yourself in atleast one of these articles. He does have a good point in a few of these later posts. It doesn't matter how many "haters" so to speak he has, it only matters how many people like his work. Deep, man. A peace offering.
