How long did he get b& for?
Wait, I don't get it at all. How is it even remotely funny? Is there a pun hiding in there?
I'm not sure either. I guess... he's trying to pull a non-sequitir? It's still bad though.
Wait, I don't get it at all. How is it even remotely funny? Is there a pun hiding in there?
He used an incorrect nomenclature. That was the joke.
his new one is awesome! ..compared to his others.
Did he ever claim he could? What's with this ridiculous idea that people have to be able to do something better in order to give criticism?
Actually yeah he did say he could. In fact he said he'd make this profitable.
This is pretty shit, but some of the jokes made me smirk.
I feel really bad for the guy that made it though. I mean he told us his life story and we just practically ruined his life. But the truth hurts and over time he might get better. I really recommend him learning how to draw better and taking an art class or something. I mean if he ever wants to really live his dream hes going to need to draw better then me.

So, I tried to improve the G-Mail Thug image, but then this happened. What have I done?

Hey folks, I just wanted to apologize to you all. I was banned from Facepunch for 24 hours for what was considered undesirable behavior. I always strive to play by the book, but this time I made the mistake of joining this forum before checking the official rules thoroughly. That being said, the last few days have been rough. I’ve endured a constant stream of hate speech directed at my comic, Spicy Tornado. There were even a few Negative Nathans that took it upon themselves to attack my very character. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on myself and my comic during my period of banishment. After another Chardonnay fueled meltdown, I put aside about two hours to reread every single comment in this thread and I realized something… A lot of the criticism about my comic has been absolutely on point. I was an absolute ignoramus to disregard your advice. In the future, I will make it my mission to take each and every nugget of criticism and turn it into pure, unadulterated comic bliss. I’m even considering buying an electronic tablet pad like several of you have suggested. I may not yet have the greatest webcomic on the Internet, but I do have something almost as powerful. I have fire in my belly. I’m consumed with the passion of a thousand gazelles. And with only about three months left of savings, I must and I will make Spicy Tornado both successful and profitable. I will not give in to the Negative Nathan’s that have advised me to get on my hands and knees and beg Walter for my job back. Instead I will better myself and in the process better my comic. I want to thank you all for the wake up call. As a token of my appreciation, my big brother and I are in the process of creating a new comic that will integrate much of the advice you guys have bestowed upon me. To show I mean business, I will not spend any time on Facepunch until my new comic is published. I really think you guys will be pleasantly surprised with this one. Well, I’m going to go watch The Return of the Jedi for inspiration, and then I shall work on my new comic until it is complete. I look forward to chit chatting tomorrow. I love you all, Jasper
The new Japan one isn't that bad.

Three months of savings? Oh god what have you done.
I love you all, Jasper
Well next time post your comic in this thread instead of making a whole new one and getting banned. Also I will say again if you really want to live off of your comics your going to need to improve your drawing. Take an art class.
Is it wrong to actually love the maker of Spicy Tornado? MAYBE in a homo way.
Jasper is a pretty cool guy, and I have respect for him now.
The comics are terrible but somewhat funny. It's mainly the art that needs work in my opinion.
wanna bet
Yup.

Tablet =/= Good art
Tablet =/= Good art
But it definitely helps. I will demonstrate with a custom made comic for the situation, depicting my reaction to this thread. [img_thumb]http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/375/spicytornado.png[/img_thumb]

What a thread.
Do you live in Minneapolis, Mr. Spicy Tornado?
Hey folks, -WORDS- I love you all, Jasper
My only complaint is that not a huge amount of thought seems to be going into each strip. You're not going to shock people with your drawing skills in a humorous comic (especially not without good drawing skills), so you need to put some wit into it. The "hangman" comic was good, and there's a few other clever ones, too. [editline]28th April 2011[/editline] I thought the most recent one was pretty funny, too, being a jab at how we have so many preconceptions about people outside our nation which are probably mostly wrong
