SpicyTornado - The unfunniest shit on the Internet created from the spawns of hell.

In my years of lurking i deem this thread special.
This guy made a site, posted these images and acts like a goody goody... and is on facepunch.
Too much coincidence.
That last comic gave me a chuckle.
Your improving SpicyTornado. But your still a bit sucky in my books.
You don't use ads and nobody donates. Do you even understand how other webcomics make money? Your webcomic hasn't gotten any closer to your goal if your goal is to make the site profitable.
Neither does he have anything to sell.
Spicy, you're definitely getting there mate. Just gotta improve a little on the way you put together your jokes.
Better your art skills, and stop throwing completely random stuff in, when you do that you'll have a brilliant comic.
Honestly, I have barely spoken to my dad lately. He's still peeved that I quit a steady job with the U.S. Postal Service to pursue my dream.
Spicy Tornado is not yet profitable, but traffic has spiked as of late. With each passing day I'm getting closer and closer to my ultimate goal.
without ads your traffic means fuck all money wise
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
i have no idea how you think that without donations or ads your website is going to be profitable at all
this thread proves that facepunch is full of a bunch of retarded teen nerds who think they're funny

Wait... you quit your job to make a comic, expecting some kind of profit out of it, while you were also very inexperienced and had little to no idea of what you were doing?
Bad move.

Do you even know what "hipster" means?
This new one is actually OK.
Thanks for the kind words regarding my most recent comic, folks. I wish I could invite each and every one of you facepunchers to a celebratory dinner.

why are you so angry? we made fun of a crudely drawn webcomic
because we are being redicously rude to someone who is being nice, but I guess that is what happens when you can hide behind anonymity.
imagine being an asshole like this to someone in real life, you wouldn't.
also i was being an emotional drunk at the time of that message so feh

The website traffic is increasing because people enjoy insulting your artwork. And it was a bad move to quit your job and start this immediately. You probably won't be funding yourself for a long time. (if you do make it big and famous on the internet somehow)

The first time I saw that on CN, I was convinced my 9 year old brother had suddenly gained the ability to wirelessly connect his laptop to the 60 inch TV to watch crappy Newground flash animations.
Greetings Facepunch!
This is Jasper's brother, Ryan. Co-creator of Spicy Tornado.
Until now I've opted to stay out of this roller coaster of a thread.
I've seen my comic compared to everything from trash, to various kinds of animal droppings. So you can imagine why I wouldn't want to get my hands dirty in this thread of filth.
But I've realized the error of my ways. Moreover, earlier in the thread, someone asked what I thought of all these "shenanigans".
Well... at first I was disheartened by the all the negativity stones being cast at my comic.
But now I realize that every negative statement about our comic is feedback that can help my brother and I continue on this journey in creating the finest comic the web has ever known.
Also, and this is worth mentioning, some people on this thread have given very encouraging words for us.

I thought it would be appropriate, as the co-creator, to chime in on this thread and give you the scoop from my perspective.
Best regards to all,
Ryan
Sometimes it's important to remember to not bow to pressure and to pursue your dreams.
And other times it's important to realize that maybe you suck so much at something that there isn't much of a chance that you'll actually improve.
I won't go so far as to say which category you fall into, but perhaps that's something you should consider.

But seriously. Ryan's right.
I believed in Jasper, but Ryan just seems like someone desperately trying to revive this.

I'm not quite sure what a sperg is, but I do get a kick out of the conspiracy theories.

Probably the correct saying. I paraphrased.
