I think I should put this in apple tech support on the forum....
"Help, my iPod touch got wet!" "Don't worry. I assure you, buying a new one will solve your issue." :smug:
Laving, washing. Common typo.
I believe lavar is to wash in Spanish so maybe that's where the mistake has come from
Laving machine means washing machine in French. [editline]21st November 2010[/editline] oh shit ninja'd
Loving machine
you wear a dressing gown :xd:
It's cosy as fuck.
Laving machine means washing machine in French. [editline]21st November 2010[/editline] oh shit ninja'd
It's not being ninjad if it was over an hour ago. It's called not reading the thread. Your iPod Touch should dry out in a few days. Try not to use it too much, however, because you could cause damage to the screen itself with water inside it.
tie it to a string swing it around for a while
tie it to a string swing it around for a while
eventually it will fall off and [del]you[/del] your parents will have to buy a new one
Yeah don't bother calling Apple, any form of moisture voids your warranty, and as soon as your warranty is up Apple doesn't want anything to do with you.
For my cellphone when I fell in a pool at a party, I just put it in the oven on like 300 for around 5 minutes.
Microwave it.
Microwave it.
Obviously this.
wrap it in a towel, then put it in a dryer for 20 min, worked for me
Laving machine Lav Lavatory You shat on it?
the best way to get the water out of any ipod type thing is with a vacuum dessicator.
Open it up, put it in a cup of rice.
Use a temperature adjustable heatgun and dry it
Just Leave it somewhere warm for a day or two, the water will go away. [editline]23rd November 2010[/editline] ah, my 400th
Well since you put it in the washing machine, doesn't it make perfect sense to put it in the dryer?
banned user is right you know
Well here's the matter, I forgot my ipod in my jeans and it went into my washing machine... I put it in rice and it started, it's working. But I have a problem, there is water in my screen. I dont know how to remove it. What should I do?
Exact same situation. The water will take a while to dissolve, days even. Leave it in rice, continually. If you can get the iPod to work without frying the whole thing, the heat from the iPod will evaporate the water, otherwise, leave it on something warm, like a turned-on TV or something that can provide mild but not overpowering heat.
Same thing happened to me with my nano, dont leave it out in the sun... mine got really hot and doesn't work at all now.
Thank god i dont have an iPod touch
I have enjoyed this thread.
Shit on it. The shit will remove the remaining moisture.
But I have a problem, there is water in my screen. I dont know how to remove it. What should I do?
put a fish in it
