• Steam Badge Levels: You Care?

I was level 11 as soon as I got the update no need to be any higher, not like anyone cares about profiles
I just find it as a fun thing to do when I'm bored and don't want to launch a game, I can't be half-assed to install and/or play most of the games my cards are for though.
Isn't there a limit to how many things you can sell on the Market in a year?
When I got to a certain point, there was a popup where it asked for my billing information. I filled it out and it let me use as many slots as I wanted. Unlimited backpack slots, provided nobody's buying what you're storing. There's another 50 crates waiting to be put up.
You get most of the cards free the first time and its fun getting the badge but I don't see myself getting any level 2's, it just seems like a waste of money buying ALL the cards
The only game I'd want to get all the market merchandise for is bioshock infinite. Even then I'm only going for it after the summer sale.
Steam gives you some stuff based on your steam level tho, like the max amount of friends you can have.
I've never really cared for the cards and badges, if I just happen to get them, through playing the game etc then that's fine. It just seems another way for steam to suck your wallet dry.
Before the update became public I use to pretty consistently sell my cards because the ~30 cents you tended to get would slowly add up. Even now unless you've got a particular affinity for a certain game and you really want a badge I still can't see much reason to not sell them because you can just buy the backgrounds or emoticons that you might get from crafting for even cheaper than most cards sell.

I was going to sell a hat and buy a TF2 backpack expander, but it's a much better idea to just put what items I can on the market at exorbitant prices. And if anyone happens to buy them, all the better.
the steam levels is really stupid, but it's nice to be level 10 and have an extra info box
as Level 16, I definitely expected levelling up to be more fun and I actually don't think it's rewarding enough somehow
highest is currently 100
now 106
So can someone give the full rundown on everything. All of this still confuses me a bit.
I really think that cards and shit should amount to more. You can get most of your cards by having the game alt tabbed, so what's the point?
I've already seen a couple level 100 Steam users. Quite disturbing.
Steam level of 105
I kinda care, Well I just use it to Dick wave All the Games I own.
I put the trading cards on the Market as soon as I get them.
