They're both pretty central with varying degrees of left and right depending on the country. So I'm not voting.

holy shit Der<space>Ubermensch! Libertarian, which I define as true conservatism.
liberal social conservatives are assholes and have terrible beliefs, while fiscal conservatives ignore the past and have no clue how economics works. although being a fiscal conservative is much better than a social one. at least you aren't a bigot. there's absolutely no reason to support conservatism

From what I have seen so far from the left is that they only pay attention to the morality of markets and the well-being of the workers; barely ever actually looking into the mathematics and trends of economics.
Lots of government programs but little government control.
This concept turns me on.
Define "fixing". This is a credit bubble that has developed due to the sudden increase in spending which was encouraged by the government bailouts which will <catches breath> pop in a couple months. By the way, our recession isn't a result of conservative economic doctrine. It is a result of our fractional reserve system and is also due to our constantly unbalanced budget. Which both conservatives and liberals can be held accountable for. Especially the warhawk Republicans.

If the system is amoral and the workers are deprived then it doesn't matter how much money you are making or how well your economy is doing. Trickle down economics doesn't work. According to the poll 2/3ths of facepunchers are liberal? Would have expected higher.
It depends what you ask me about.
Socialist.
I believe in crab people.
Socialist.
That makes you a Liberal actually.... [sp]Oh shit, here we go. Liberals spewing out they're not communists rating this boxes because they don't know the political wings[/sp]

Our recession is a result of unregulated corporations, unregulated markets (i.e derivatives), and unregulated global and national economies. This free flow of money ideal that is espoused by economic conservatives has proven to be a failure and disastrous to our global economy, evident through the economic collapse of several nations. Proof? Look at what theories were espoused by men such as Robert Rubin, Alan Greenspan and Lawrence Summers and how their actions led us up to the point we are now. Alan Greenspan even admitted how wrong he truly was about his ideals of an unregulated market and has apologized for the wrongs he has committed, even if that means nothing now.
