Is their an option to say, "I'm not degrading myself to a certain party"
I like labour because their leader is a man-child who can't talk properly.
I like labour because their leader is a man-child who can't talk properly.
And talks to business because hes a small party looking for a big name.
Nationalist. Between those two i'm leaning towards Conservative
Mixed. I like liberal freedom but I also like conservative meritocracy.
Here in scandinavia, being liberal means being rightwinged. Here the question is wether you're a socialist or a liberal.. How I would love if America realized that liberal =/= socialist and that socialist =/= communist
I'm pretty much a liberal. Fuck the Tories, what with their conservative ways.
Liberal i guess.
Center but lean more towards left ideas.
Center
Lol no
Lol no
Lol yes don't tell me what my political aisle is when I've taken plenty of tests on them.
Neither, I'm Socialst.
Ha, how appropriate, the poll colours are red for liberal and blue for conservative.
They are actually backwards.
Neither, I vote anti-capitalism.
Damn conservatives, raising our taxes, making retirement age higher, damn them all to hell.
Moderate Libertarian.
I dont think there are really any social conservatives in here, by that i mean against gay marriage or not wanting evolution to be taught in schools [editline]20th November 2010[/editline]
Neither, I vote anti-capitalism.
Thats more liberal then conservative
I'm liberal but find some conservative values rather pleasing. This is why the two-party system doesn't work. Luckily, here in Finland we have multiple parties and none of them do what they should be doing, so whatever.
Social Liberal.
I'm a moderate bastard. I identify myself as libertarian, but I feel that there should be government regulations on large businesses. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline]
Neither, I'm Socialst.
Damn dirty socialist terrorist jew :foxnews:
Nationalist. Between those two i'm leaning towards Conservative
I never understood nationalists.. With that said, I'm the most secular tree hugging-est liberal ever.
Neither. Social democrat.
Liberal is left-leaning. Full left is communism
In American standards. Liberalism is centre-right in international standards.
We have had liberal Republicans in the past you know. Over time, the side that liberals are on changes depending on what needs to be done in comparison to what is in place at that moment. I guess most people on facepunch are moderates whether they would like to think so or not. Many here are smart enough to know that problems are not always black and white, and that things don't need to be changed when they are not broken. Many will swing both ways depending on the problem.
Nationalist
*cough* nazi
The world isn't made of liberals and conservatives you know. If I had to chose one of the two then liberal.
I'm pretty much a liberal. Fuck the Tories, what with their conservative ways.
Yeah! Fuck anyone who has a different view to me!
Neither, I'm Socialst.
That's liberal. :downs: People are getting Liberalism mixed up with party names (i.e. Liberal party of Australia)...
Libertarian, so I guess Liberal.
Neither. Plus the two terms mean different things in different places. Trying to cut down political views into two camps isn't very smart. Feels like a fast thread but meh.
I can tell you right now the problem with this vote is it is centered around American politics. To put this into perspective, Canada's Progressive Conservative party is more left on the scale than the Democrats are. Makes me laugh when people say our Prime Minister is the next George Bush... at least you can tell who the ignorant ones are right away. I myself prefer conservative economics with some government oversight (to protect the people from monopolies). I would never welcome american style patents into this country. Socially, I am certainly more liberal but some elements of society could be more conservative.
