That's liberal. :downs:

Liberalism and socialism are two entirely different ideologies.

well socialism would be more liberal then it would be conservative, also I bet if it were not for the republicans America would be socialist by now

Yeah, socialism is usually closer to liberalism than conservatism, but they still are different ideologies; socalism has a lot of ideas that contradict liberalism and vice versa.
More liberal than conservative, but nonetheless a moderate
Marxist
So facepunch, are you conservative or liberal?
Hypothesis:
100% Liberal
If we are talking about UK political parties.... None of the Above.
Labour...

I agree. Doesn't everyone like to pretend that they are a hardcore, AK wielding, Vodka drinking, Russian comrade who fights Fascism and haters for the motherland after playing Call of Duty: World at War?
Barely libertarian. Economically conservative-ish, very socially liberal.
Socially liberal, economically undecided.
I think anarcho communism (resourced based economy) is closer to liberal, so that
democratic socialist, he says, engaging in no discussion
pretty liberal
I'm a fucking communist, Trotskyist to be exact.
I'm more of a Autocratic Libertarian democrat
Probably far left, with a couple of conservative ideals when it comes to society. to summarize I think the government should be running the show (lots of social services, economic control, and any taxes that need to back that up), provided the government is not corrupt or incompetent.
"Liberal or Conservative" is not exactly a wide range of choices

I'm pretty far left. More so than anybody I know, I'm considered to be the wacked out commie in my group of friends.

So you're just slightly left-wing by the standards of anybody living in a country that is not the USA.
I would say a mix of Conservative & Socialist
well socialism would be more liberal then it would be conservative, also I bet if it were not for the republicans America would be socialist by now
:fsmug:
Don't know exactly, I think the government should be there to defend the Country and make sure it's citizens are safe, with very little interference with businesses, companies, etc besides making sure it's safe, fair, and regulated. I guess I'd be OK with State or more preferably local government having a hand in some services though. I think the government running most of the things in a Country is a very bad thing, however.

I fit the title of a Marxist. If that is slightly left outside of the USA then I'm leaving the USA.
Neither.
Plus the two terms mean different things in different places. Trying to cut down political views into two camps isn't very smart.
Feels like a fast thread but meh.
Like Republicans and Democrats for another example?

In terms of the left wing, Whats considered extreme in the US is pretty moderate in most other countries. The US as a whole is extremely right wing.
