I got framed at work, but I looked at the cameras and found out who did it.

Make a video, or a text based image about what happened. I'd like to share on facebook, but linking to a facepunch thread wouldnt be optimal.

He did, but it had to be taken down for potential legal reasons
I think you should just get another job and move on.
I think you should give him a job so that he can move on.
Id move to the uk for a job :p
Anyway, the videos are listed again
Went today and asked for letter stating when I worked there, Recieved it. I also requested tonight a letter stating that I was fired (Not requesting the reason, but that i was infact fired). Lets see if i get one.

Sorry mate, we haven't got any jobs over here.

He couldnt just have a video of him talking into a camera saying that he needs money? He doesnt have to put any of the video from the incident in it.
Or one of those images like 4chan creates everytime they want to 'raid' something. You know what I'm talking about?
Department Of Labor Office
I walked in and was given two numbers to call, Thats all they could do.
The Phone Numbers They Gave Me
No legal help and told me that they couldn't help me with my situation
Lawyer 1
Said NYS is employment at will and an employer could frame you and then fire you even if you have proof.
Lawyer 2
Pending call back from the acutal lawyer after talking to a secretary
So legally you can be framed and fired with proof of innocence in the US?
This honestly kind of scares me.

Doesnt matter. New york's work laws are different.

I don't think you understood that quote.
New York State =/= The entire United States
It dosn't matter that New York is not ALL of the US, it is still in the US, so that worry is still true. Would certinatly make me wary of working in that state.
Yes, they fired you in a particularly shitty way, but they're allowed to fire you for no reason at all, aren't they? They could've just fired you as you walked in one day, and they're not required to give you a reason, so I don't see how, other than being rude, them making up a reason would help your case.
Following on from Morcam's post above - If you don't mind my asking, was it a casual job or a full time job? If it was casual you may find that it will actually be a tough case to win. Casuals have very few legal rights and can be fired for pretty much any reason with 0 notice, there's pretty much no such thing as an unfair dismissal for a casual worker. The whole framing thing hopefully changes that.
Either way, best of luck. I also notice you haven't mentioned your parents at all in this thread. Surely they would help you with this? They probably have their own lawyer that they go to for stuff.
Also as others have said, why are the videos still public? If you're serious about taking legal action, make them private.
I was a full time employee working between 41-46 hours a week.
Good to hear, got plenty of legal rights then. What about parents though? Can they help with legal aid? At the moment it doesn't look like you're really getting anywhere with regards to legal representation which sucks. The longer you leave it, the more annoying it'll get to go through with.
Parents believe it's worthless don't bother just get another job.
Fuck that, if you don't have a legal case at least you have a rock-solid civil case.
Sorry to say it, but you can't win a case against them. Employers are allowed to fire people for literally no reason at all. The only illegal firing is if it's because you were part of a protected group like race/religion/etc.
Them framing you just proves how big of a douche bag they are, but that's not illegal.

you have no idea how the system works, do you.

Please, show me where the law states that it's illegal to fire someone for stupid reasons.
http://jobsearch.about.com/od/jobloss/g/wrongfultermination.htm
"However an employee can be wrongfully terminated if discrimination is involved in the termination, if public policy is violated, or if company policy states guidelines for termination. Other reasons that could be construed as wrongful termination include retaliation i.e. being fired for being a whistle blower or complaining, or for not being willing to commit an illegal act when asked to by an employer. Discriminatory reasons that can be considered wrongful termination include firing an employee because of race, nationality, religion, gender, or age."
Unless you 1) have a union contract stating they can't fire you for no reason, 2) have a company policy that states the same thing, or 3) can prove retaliation/discrimination then you have no case.
He is right.

Employers can fire anybody at any time. Framing him was probably some silly pretense that was legally unnecessary.
that's not the point, of course they can fire him, they hold all the rights to terminate your services, but that doesn't mean he can't sue for different things involving his fucking workplace framing him.
And don't start spewing "Brb moving to Europe" shit. These laws are the same everywhere unless, as sgman91 said, there are special circumstances.

What would his case be?
"Oh my boss said that I left the door open and fired me. Even though this is legal, my feelings are hurt so I want to sue him."
I assume you weren't unionized?
That's what unions are there for. As corrupt as they are, they provide protections from this sort of thing.

Hostile Work Environment,
Working in a place where apparently I can be framed is a hostile work environment where my peers are aggressive. Are you a lawyer? No. Speak to one about my case, there job is specifically to find any legal opening to be taken.

Small settlement then. Not what you/we expected.
