I got framed at work, but I looked at the cameras and found out who did it.

Trust me, We found something we can use greatly to our advantage. State is going to rain shit on them. Has nothing to do with me being fired but something else.

Are you able to mention it here?
Hell, once the case hits the courtroom, are you going to be able to talk about it here at all? Ongoing litigation and whatnot?
Here's all I can give away for now, IF it's per infraction they can owe the state over $60,000, If it's only when they get caught it's not as much. Plus other versions of fraud.
I don't know a whole lot about law, though I have heard small claims court come up in these types of situations. I would do some reading into it.

I can see for a maximum of 5,000$ in NYS under small claims. I can open a civil case but requires lawyer funding i do not have. I am visiting a lawyer tommorow in person to discuss legal matters.
Good luck bro, it's a long battle. My ma got was hit by a doctor's car. He hit the tire swing on my truck (it's the thing that holds the spare tire on the back) when it was opened, we were parked in a parking zone at a flea market selling stuff. The rod hit her back and neck causing severe damage to her spine. He carried the lowest form of insurance as well. We're also suing the flea market for selling us a spot that wasn't sectioned off like the others.
What shitbag, i remember all the stories you had in working retail, and how you do even extra stuff that you don't even need to and being underpaid. Really boils my blood
Hostile Work Environment,
Working in a place where apparently I can be framed is a hostile work environment where my peers are aggressive. Are you a lawyer? No. Speak to one about my case, there job is specifically to find any legal opening to be taken.
After looking at the hostile working environment laws I still can't see how they apply, but whatever... I hope for the best for you. I just also happen to think you are wasting both your time and money. Saying I'm not a lawyer has nothing to do with my argument. I can research court cases as well as any lawyer.
Something's wrong with the justice system if ykh can't take legal action to this.
Best of luck to you
I can understand why you are pissed off, but is this all really necessary?
How much were you getting paid anyways...

Have to agree with him, the time you waste pursuing this could be spent getting a better job. Doesn't sound like it was a great / well paid job anyway.
Open your own store, and run them out of business.
What was your working relationship like with the dairy manager? What motive did he have for framing you?

Will there be blackjack and hookers?
This thread is badass.
Seriously, don't ever back down from this. This will only just make them believe they can get away with shit like this.
All it takes for evil to happen is for good people to do nothing.
The people in this thread who are telling him to give up are the reason people can get away with shit like this.

I'm fairly sure shitty employment laws are the reason people can get away with shit like this.
I'm fairly sure shitty employment laws are the reason people can get away with shit like this.
We'll call that reason B.
I'm fairly sure shitty employment laws are the reason people can get away with shit like this.
Because your allowed to do something doesn't make it morally right. The reason the law is there is so that there is no tension being forced to stay at a job. It's just the way you see the law is which is what happening. They see it so open they think it covers doing this shit. It's up to the judge to interpret what the law acutally covers and if frauding and setting someone up counts as breaking it or allowed.
Doesn't
Other reasons that could be construed as wrongful termination include retaliation i.e. being fired for being a whistle blower or complaining
apply? He said right int he text it's because of the email. aka

'it was your choice' implies it was because of your action of defending yourself from what I can see
Lawyer already pointed that out as one of the openings included a few others.

I hope you get some dosh and fuck them over. Just don't spend it all and become a lazy bum.

He should spend it all on Boostar

Or grant some of it to a research team or something.

Cancer can cure itself, we need more titles.
Am I really the only person in this topic who needs to see this elusive 'email' to pass judgement? For all we know he could have been acting like a total moron.
'it was your choice' implies it was because of your action of defending yourself from what I can see
or it could be for a variety of other reasons, why does facepunch always side with the employee without even knowing the circumstances?
He asserted he was framed when it could have been a legitimate mistake, he sent an email we don't know the contents of, he's a teenager and thus is prone to being an idiot.
I'm not saying all of these things did happen, but the fact that they could have happened and everyone is completely on his side is mind boggling.

Doesn't it stay on your record? Depending on the severity of the reason he was fired for, it'll affect whether future employers could fire you or hire you. A court case could possibly clear it for him.

I can't find the whole quote, but I found the "It's gonna be Biblical." At 0:37
