totally worth it though
Those look damn good rusty. The first ones really give a Red Wing Iron Ranger vibe. I like the leather sole of the second too, and if you're concerned of slipperiness on the soles, that will be much less of an issue once the sole gets worn in. You're making me want the grey pair even more.
Yeah the Red Wing leather is much stiffer, even compared to my Frye boots, but I have a feeling that once it breaks in it will be exactly the same comfort if not higher than my Frye's since it's so conformed once broken in. I've worn them around the house for the last three days and they are starting to crease and get more supple already.
Also cuffing your pants like you did in the photo looks great, I agree with you about showing ankle. Unless I'm wearing dress pants I really don't want to see any ankle, especially with 6" boots, in fact I'm trying to think of an example of boots with ankle showing without it looking ridiculous and I can't think of one.
How's the insole on them? My RW leather insole is so hard you can tap it and it sounds and feels like wood, but has already started forming to my foot and is comfortable already. I'd imagine SA are a little more comfortable out of the box?
Oh hell, I just saw those are Iron rangers lol, I thought you bought the two different stacy adams that you had previously posted for some reason. Congrats on the purchase.
I think the problem with this thread is that everyone thinks their own fashion style is the right one.
I think the problem with this thread is that everyone thinks their own fashion style is the right one.
That's pretty much how people are with everything, everywhere. The only problem is there isn't enough people here to give individual communities around the distinct styles, instead we all have to mingle.
I dont get why so many of you guys get such tight jeans/pants.
I wear tight pants, slim straight but alot of you wear skin tight pants. I think it looks weird.

Its probbably been asked a million times but I didn't see it in the OP. Can any one recommend some good stores/brands for plain tee's, preferably nothing to expensive I'd like to get out of wearing graphic tees and looking more plain style I guess?

I think the all-leather PF Flyers look better and are more versatile. Generally good looking shoes though.

the colours on the sole doesn't match the shoe material at all. and those laces are equally as bad

I'm color blind and I find it really hard to color scheme with clothes. I need a little bit of color scheme help for my suit please!
I got a dark navy blue suit for school and I need ties and shirts to go with them. I know I want a burgundy tie, but I'm not sure about what color shirts to get. I am thinking a very light blue shirt? Tips would be good.
White shirts are a must surely? Also what would you expect to pay for shirts?
the bottom isn't at hard as some other boots I own, since it's made out of cork. but damn they hurt at the moment. i will wear them around the house but i hope they break in quickly!
you can use leather conditioner as well, softens them up quicker
I'm looking into getting a pair of white vans. What is the general opinion of those?
you can use leather conditioner as well, softens them up quicker
I wouldn't do that. It's read a lot of places it's best not to use leather conditioner on new boots. Something about the initial break in, I've read that a few places. Best way I've heard of is to wear two pair of soaking wet wool socks, and wear the new boots all day, by the end of the day the boots will be broken in. Other than that, just wearing them around the house for a few days usually does the trick. My RW's with only 4 days of wearing them in the house and twice going on an errand already feel amazing, the insole has conformed to my foot and there are no more annoying tight spots. Just give it some time, as long as you got the right size they will become perfect.
Also, I've read that it's better to wait like 4 months of wearing before you condition the leather, helps keep it supple.

Ehhh, Vans authentic / slip on are pretty bland and a lot of people wear them, if you're looking for something different but still Vans then definitely go with Old Skools.

Soles are often raw leather. Anyways that looks pretty complimentary, dark blue gray and orange work together. I think that actually doesn't look that bad, I'd like it better if the laces were raw leather colored like the sole and heel support.

I'd go white jack Purcells or even white converse because I for one like the look of the red stripe on beige white converse.

yeah lemonator says some dumb shit but it seems like rusty doesnt understand that people like different things. if anybody is threadshitting its rusty.

They're very versatile, but very difficult to clean if you're not a fan of the worn look.
dear god where did all these lemonator defenders come from
does he have some sort of high fashion legion that he summons at will
