i am dissapoint rusty, i srory Sidenote: I can only wear XS cause I'm small body frame, So it's hard to find anything that fits me in stores. I needed a jacket as my other real leathers are worn and it's already getting chilly in Westchester. Anyway if you are willing to point me to a few real leathers that are the same XS Size (28-32 waist line) etc then I'll be willing to take a look. Went to Nordstroms, Burlington, Two Expresses (Got that jacket at my express) and all I could salvage is that one XS Jacket.
i used to like and get jackets from an aus online retailer (that i think ships overseas?) called viparo but they changed all their stuff and now i hate all of it so idk
Does anyone else only do their laundry when they are down to their last pair of clean underwear?
No, I usually do it whenever I can fill up my washing machine.
they look like very nice winter shoes i would like a pair of shoes like that for winter how are they in the rain??
Like my other leather chucks they were good in the rain, the leather really helps on that front. Also, they are 'sealed' better where the sole meets the upper, where most chucks usually get wet. I'd bet that Converse brings something like that back again this year, it's one of those shoes, or style of shoe, that they only sell for the winter months and then go on clearance in the summer.
Yeah they are already selling those chucks over here. Saw them today.
if anyone finds a similar pair online link it
if anyone finds a similar pair online link it
Looks like Converse has changed the model a bit, but here's what they are putting out this year. Also, they look a little wider when wearing than conventional chucks because of the bulkiness of the leather/padded lining. I am looking for a beanie.
I am looking for a beanie.
baby or adult?
I usually wear a shirt one day, then skip a day or two and wear it again, then it gets washed. Keeps it fresh and the missing day or so gives it room from being "eww that guy wore the same shirt again."
baby or adult?
Adult

It looks a little like a Jamaican hat but all monochrome. Like something Bob Marley would wear if he was depressed or something.

Finding good leather at thrift shops is pretty difficult, it either takes diligence or luck. That is of course if you want something other than a maroon 1970's disco leather jacket.

Until you realize he actually owns those clothes, so as much as he's making fun of them, he bought them. Oh also, on a high fashion note, I saw a guy on campus today, who had a bright yellow towel (a plain bathroom towel) tucked into his sagging pants, and it was a full sized towel so it was actually dragging on the ground behind him. Mind you, his hat, shoes and towel were all cordinated so it was all really cohesive.
Just made a few e-purchases today. Bought myself a Rolex Submariner (Rep, top quality with a Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement, best rep available, all parts interchangeable with genuine) and a leather 20mm NATO strap from Gunny Straps, they are handmade and beautiful leather straps. If I like the watch I'm going to get another for my dad for Christmas, he's always admired the diving watches since his diving days. I'm going to get it pressure tested once I get it, should be waterproof to 250 feet which far and above what it'd ever need to cope with. Here's what it'll look like (The picture of a Sea Dweller not a Sub Mariner but they are very similar) I'll also have the original metal band as well. This guy making the strap is pretty cool, It's being made for me, to my wrist size. Pretty awesome customer service.
I don't suppose you're willing to part with where you're having the strap made? I like the Submariner rep but strap is my favorite part.
http://gunnystraps.blogspot.com/ You can get much more affordable leather NATO's from other sources, but I wanted something I'd really appreciate, and Gunny straps are considered collectable as the pinnacle of straps in watch communities. Here is basically the same thing at a reasonable price, http://www.crownandbuckle.com/straps-by-type/leather-nato/leather-nato-20mm-dark-earth.html And here's a watch with a similar look to the Submariner, http://www.discountwatchstore.com/Invicta-9110--Black-Automatic-Jelly-Diver_p_1367.html So for a little over $100 you could have a watch that achieves the same look.
I am looking for a beanie.
Hate to say it but there are some real nice Obey ones out
it'll have a big obey logo on it, won't it? [editline]25th September 2013[/editline]
I owned a couple of pieces of Obey before they became really big here, definitely not the highest quality (they were shit) at this point Obey is more of a laughing stock than Supreme [editline]26th September 2013[/editline] [t]https://sphotos-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/p480x480/1240067_10151788865739886_380258826_n.jpg[/t] also bought this and the Tepsic No Bullshit tee today as well as a StreetX (local brand) 5 panel that I can't find a picture of definitely digging this brand
Man I saw a boy with a shirt that said TRILL on it in a big gothic typeface yesterday I guess we'll have to put up with THAT for the next three years now First warning signs on here from lemonator/notlabbet.. kid looked like a right loser
