Thoughts on these?

My Old Skools are awful for skating in, they're too heavy, I fucked up my ankle pretty bad, so I thought I'd give HUF a try again, I know the letter on the side is a bit much but I kinda like it.
looks really generic, like black vans
they're just boring skate shoes
yeah those are as generic as they get
but if you're only gonna wear them for skating (and if they're not too expensive) i dont see why not
It has a "ü" in it, I asked a friend of mine from New York and he says "stoosy" as well. I guess it's an American thing.
Oh, if there's actually an umlaut then it would be stoosy
That'd be a german thing though, isn't it a US brand
It looks to me like it's a stylistic choice just used for the logo, since the founder's name had no umlaut, just Stussy
Dunno
stussy is pronounced like fussy. end of dickscussion
does anybody here think camo can look good?
i really don't at all, but some people i know do, and i see it more and more often in stores, so i'm trying to gauge this thread's opinion

It's popular right now and that's about it. I don't think it ever looks good, but then again I gravitate towards a more simpler style than camo, crazy print shirts and snapbacks and crazy shoes.
I find it funny that I've got a pile of camo jackets, Flecktarn, Marine digital, army digital, navy digital, airforce digital, woodland, desert from my old days of collecting as a kid, and these are actually being worn now. I remember wearing flecktarn when I was a 16 year old skater and now I see that same surplus jacket at UO. Apparently I was way ahead of the curve. I just looked on UO and they have three pages list up when you search 'camo'.

it's ok as a pattern sometimes, but full camo outfits are dumb
i only like small camo stuff like shoes or hats or whatever
camo hoodies, shirts or pants are just bad

not ever

What about this jacket :v:
even worse than camo usually looks
back when it was used, and as a military uniform, it sure looked cool, though

Get some nice plaid ones. I can't imagine western shirts are to hard to find in Australia?

Like black vans? You mean those fucking authentics? I'm not sure about that.
they're just boring skate shoes
I don't know what you're expecting for shoes to skate in.

I'm still lost with the whole "generic" thing, I've never seen them around before, I think it's the black & white that's making everyone say that :v:
Yeah they're to skate in / wear whenever, and they're £62 with shipping from the US.

if you knew everyone was going to say what they just said, why get anyones thoughts on them
if you like them, buy them.
I don't actually know why I asked when I was planning on getting them regardless. I'm gonna do it :downs:

"having seen it before" is not what generic means. being generic means that they're too similar to, well, everything else. if you saw an iconic adidas shoe without the logo you'd instantly go "adidas", but when i see those you posted i only think "shoes"

lumpy
lumpy
i think that's just because the dude there is wearing a lot of stuff under it, you wouldn't really be wanting to wear it with two shirts and a tie anyway
Still lumpy looking

I think he's talking more about the quilting.
So, my girlfriend just dropped the phone while I was talking to her and i heard "oh my god, i've gotta go!" shouted in a panicked voice as the phone fell and clattered on the ground. Which caused me to race over to her house (just a few blocks away) to find her in her yard, at night, trying to break up a dog/cat fight that happened outside her window...I seriously thought someone had kicked her door down or something...very dramatic...very anticlimactic.../end blogpunch.
no i think quilting can look fine but that one just looks lumpy
