i really don't understand the hate for these nikes tbh, they're not a bad looking shoe and they can definitely add a splash of color to an otherwise dull outfit
[editline]6th October 2013[/editline]
it's not like they're covered in fucking glitter or dollar signs or even straight-up floral prints, they're literally just bare-bones camo with what might or might not be blurry flowers
they are floral digi camo
how is that 'not bad looking' by any stretch of the imagination
tbh they dont even look like they're floral, at least not in those pictures, they just look like a regular black orange and gray abstract design

then again this is waaay out of your (very narrow) fashion sense so i wouldn't expect you of all people to accept it
these are cool

thats what i was saying more or less (less really)
he HATES it but he really HATES anything that isn't how he dresses, so who cares?

its true tho
not even saying it because i liked the shoes, but your fashion sense is good but not at all varied
[editline]7th October 2013[/editline]
i'm not calling it bland, just very safe
which is not a bad thing in itself but some people prefer a riskier style
Those janoskis look nice just as objects, I wouldn't wear them personally though because I don't know what I'd pair them with. The pattern is fine though per se, you're definitely overreacting if you think they're obnoxious or something
its varies enough, i dont need to actually wear all the styles under the sun.
i still like things on other people i wouldnt wear myself. i have broad tastes in just about everything and what i will wear of that is slimmer but i critisize things even outside my own taste objectively. it's not a matter of would i wear it but rather is it nice design, do the colours go together, is it a pleasant easthetic of its genre.
those sneakers are just an eyesore from any standpoint. i do dabble in design and have a good eye for colour combos and stuff, and they are just terrible sorry
[editline]7th October 2013[/editline]
they first and foremost are too colour busy for any one body part
they're obviously not an eyesore from any standpoint considering there's a fair amount of people in here who like them (almost everyone but you)
that is okay though because they are wrong

they should ship there. dune has rest of the world shipping for 10 pounds and it deducts the VAT (uk tax). AND says 5 days delivery. it seems like a really nice website. ordered my wingtips from there
ok i guess they do but i don't really think they're worth 137 USD

I'm an artist and I disagree
Your design sense must be pretty lacking, you could definitely make a kick ass poster or other design with the palette of those shoes
ok i guess they do but i don't really think they're worth 137 USD
thats only slightly above your average shoe price in aus

look man, i just think they look really bad, and i don't think it has anything to do with a narrow taste. people with broad tastes still hate some things.
and i dont think it's that fringe to hate the look of floral digi camo
thats only slightly above your average shoe price in aus
if you like wasting your money sure. I can safely say I've never spent that much on shoes.
i spent more than twice that amount on shoes yesterday
:(
You're being overly analytical, dude. Shit like that does not define fashion. After all, there is an entire sect of fashion based on baggy silhouettes.
i very much doubt that was the look he was going for; the ill-fitting pants don't compliment the fit at all
Well we dress for the people around us

idgaf what people think of what i wear as long as i like it.

sheeeeet
I dunno I shop at Target and Kmart most of the time for casual stuff. I found a really nice pair of shorts for $15 yesterday, the type you would pay $50 for at myer. im tight with my money now whenever I shop (perks of having an indian/malaysian girlfriend i suppose) and try to look for quality without the brand.

you wont find quality at target or kmart though
Yeah but just for casual wear, not outstanding quality but not terrible. maybe not so much kmart but I do find some gems since I just look for familiar brands like Maxx. I find it not to be too terrible and also quite cheap. I compare it to places like Politix and Roger David where I use to shop, way too expensive I don't know what I was thinking.
There will be a day where I am settled into business life and can afford to spend more for better quality, but lets be honest when that day comes I'm just going to get fitted suits and fitted shirts from thailand because why the fuck not. Save a ton of money.
how did you guys have such a discussion about tastes? Only fuls
Because Rusty posits his first impressions as facts rather than opinions, which naturally invites a lot of posts to the contrary when he's the minority?
Well Rusty, camo and floral are both in for AW13, and I agree with you, I don't find it aesthetically pleasing, but it's just one of those things you'll just have to live with, and not buy into. The same way you'll never catch me wearing a neck-roll sweater or pleated shorts, both of which are in vogue right now as well. Now I will say that I've got itch to get a nice dark emerald green sweater/shirt though.
i spent more than twice that amount on shoes yesterday

That's rough. The shoes I buy are roughly between $40-$80. And I buy from shoe stores and street wear shops. Sometimes being an American has its benifits. No more welfare after the goverment shut down, but cheap iced tea and sneakers for all!
i very much doubt that was the look he was going for; the ill-fitting pants don't compliment the fit at all
Okay dude just because you read some infographic that said "fit is everything" doesn't make you a fashion expert
Chill

Mossimo and Merona are pretty "decent"
But if you're weird about brands like I am I wouldn't shop there. It makes me feel insecure to wear Walmart-esque clothing.

I regret passing up the opportunity of a pair of lightly used Frye brown boots that were amazing, only $30 buy-it-now with $10 shipping.
My leather nato watch strap was attempted to be delivered today but I missed it, I was in the shower, now I've got to go pick it up from FedEx after 6.
