i really hate to see people wear peacoats and then straight or baggy jeans and white kicks. And then a equally dark scarf rolled up all the way to the jaw. But Ive seen that kind of outfit too many times
I think it's settled, I'm going with this jacket now.
Filson Soy-wax short lined cruiser jacket.

does the waxiness of a waxed jacket repel rain?

Yep, not fully waterproof like Goretex or something but it's enough to provide very good protection. The beauty of the wax though is how it causes the cloth to age like leather, getting better with age and gaining character.
My first post, wondering how my outfit looks. My wardrobe is made up of similar clothing.
Also, thoughts on my hair? Longer/shorter, parted/unparted? It may look a bit weird because it's been 12 hours since I did it. Also, any suggestions on hair products? I currently use Axe Messy Look Hair Paste, but that's probably a shit idea.

Welcome,
It looks like with your hair growth pattern that swooped forward with no part looks best. I think the length is fine. I do think though you could use to have some more traditional, heavier framed dark glasses like simple RayBan eyeglasses could work better with your hair and look nicer. Just my opinion though.
Something like this if you were wondering,

Also, I use pretty pricey salon products right now, Kuene men line, but I really like Axe hair products for the price that they are, the last one I used was the messy look paste and it worked well.

Yea, I've been thinking about thicker rimmed. Only problem really is the price. I guess if I'll be using it every day, $50-$150 doesn't seem so much. I have to get these replaced anyway because of issues with them. Been thinking about getting contacts too, but I have massive dark rings around my eyes, and they don't look very appealing. Glasses kind of mask the rings a bit.
i remember the popular opinion back in the day on fuls was that converse looked like clown shoes
They still do
There's no point in arguing about it though, we all know where we stand on fucking converse, I don't know why anyone posts about them in a positive or negative light
methinks rusty doth protest too often

I don't like the colour of the pants, a bit muddy, can't see yer shoes
Do you have the sweatband for a reason? Or whatever that is
Your hair is conservative but looks pretty good
And take Ajacks' advice on the frames

The pants are darker than they actually are because of the lighting. I'll see if I can get a better picture.
The sweatband on my wrist? It's a wrist compress cause I fucked up my wrist whilst skateboarding.
EDIT: Better lighting I guess. Front, side, and shoe views.
Hi just came to say that you've literally spent over a year of your life complaining about a type of shoe on an internet forum.
I need some shoe help. It's summer now in Australia and I like to wear a lot of a-line/skater skirts. I recently bought two plaid skirts because plaid is my thing, any suggestions on what type(s) of shoes to wear with it? (I usually wear flatform sneakers and I want something different)

It's 39 or something in Sydney
Because you can get the large on ebay for $257.75 w/free shipping. Just a heads up, that's a healthy chunk off.

Oh yeah dude I only paid $100 for the jacket though, it was a fucking steal. It fits like a suit jacket, never had a coat like that.
Buying from H&M online is so shit ughhh
Loads of things on the website aren't even available for another few weeks, and then it takes about two weeks for them to actually ship it all to you
I saw a chick wearing this during a lecture:

What is it? Why is it? Is it a joke? I don't get.
Also, right now, I'm sort of digging the collegiate look on myself, what brands/stores/whatever would you guys recommend I look into? Or, feel free to tell my why that look is dumb, I'm open to criticism.
what do you mean by "collegiate look"?

Smart casual. Neat, but not formal at all. Sorta preppy.

In my experience the most preppy 'collegiate' style I've seen on my campus over the years is the colored chino shorts/pants, sweater/sweater vest over a button up shirt while wearing Sperrys sockless with rayban wayfarerers, and I have to say it doesn't strike me as particularly interesting.
I'm curious, how would I go about getting this kind of haircut? And how would I know if it would look good on me?

Just picked these up, what color pants go with them best? I know they'd work with indigo but what about khaki, grey, or brown

which reminds me, one of the juniors in my university came to a after party breakfast with a strong blue cardigan, white shirt and some neon pink chinos. It really reminded me of the flickr logo, and he easily stood out from the other people, like he came from the cover of some magazine.
I dont know if thats good or bad.
sounds awful
Looking for some new shoes, want to try and get away from vans. I have been trying to find a minimalistic looking moccasin style shoe that can hold up to weather, but haven't had any luck.
I'm open to all shoe suggestions.
