Just picked these up, what color pants go with them best? I know they'd work with indigo but what about khaki, grey, or brown
they look hideous unless you're using them exclusively for running
Looking for some new shoes, want to try and get away from vans. I have been trying to find a minimalistic looking moccasin style shoe that can hold up to weather, but haven't had any luck.

oatmealman says converse, I say definitely not converse
it really depends on what style you're trying to achieve, if you wear smart casual stuff all the time then you're going to look like an idiot in converse - instead you'll want a pair of desert boots or something
can't really give you any advice unless you give us something to work with
I'm curious, how would I go about getting this kind of haircut? And how would I know if it would look good on me?

As in what I wear on a daily basis?
yeah, it's not much use us recommending you buy a pair of running shoes if you wear a suit every day
they look hideous unless you're using them exclusively for running
what are you serious. roshe's are great even as a casual shoe and lots of people wear them as such now.

I'd love a pair for running in, I think they're a very nice shoe for that purpose. However I definitely would not wear a pair daily. There's somewhat of an exception if you're around 15/16 years old because running shoes are sorta the trend in schools at the moment.

They're... not running shoes. Running in them would be a terrible (and painful) idea, as they are meant to be casual shoes.
Now does anyone who's actually educated want to give me their opinion on what to wear with the burgundy (team red) roshe runs?

I think they'd pair well with some brown/tan pants or darker blue denim as well as a lighter top (white). Just try to avoid wearing other red clothes with them.
If you want running shoes, go with the freeruns.

lmao everyone wears shoes like that casually, everyone from 16 year olds to 20-something hipsters to people in their 40's and beyond. i rarely wear any other shoe than my Air Max's, Roshe's or New Balances when I go out now
[editline]14th October 2013[/editline]
-outfit-
a nice pair of New Balances or Reeboks would go well with an outfit like that imo. otherwise if you want something more 'traditional' I'd go with a pair of Nike Janoski's or Vans Old Skools

I'm trying to get away from "casual" shoes, something with a bit more character.
running shoes are for running, basketball shoes are for playing basketball
with the exception of a couple of them that look more like casual wear, like some roshes or whatever, but really theres no reason to use them at any other time
I'm trying to get away from "casual" shoes, something with a bit more character.
ah right. how about a nice pair of Clarks Desert Boots? I think a darker pair would work pretty well with an outfit like that and they're a bit less common/casual than most shoes you see people wear while still remaining versatile
I'm trying to get away from "casual" shoes, something with a bit more character.
you dont have to get away from casual shoes completely, theres some of them with a lot of character
but if you want something that makes you look different why not wear boots like those rusty's always posting?
Well no shit you shouldn't wear running shoes everywhere you look like a poser. But I don't have any of those fancy 'casual' shoes, so its a choice between some really nice red and white hightop Nike's, all black High top adidas, Nike freeruns, or some boat shoes.
If you want running shoes, go with the freeruns.

well i suppose we'd need pictures
except for the boat shoes, just dont get those
and most adidas hi tops are bad, but then again cant tell without pics
But I actually live on a lake and own multiple boats, which I wear my boat shoes on. Is that not acceptable?
uh i suppose so
i mean, i guess it works as well as when people with surf-ish clothing live on the beach and actually surf, instead of what you usually see (people who go to the beach once a year but wear shell necklaces and beach-styled clothing)
Yeah, I'm not a poser when it comes to that beach lifestyle like 90% of people wearing Hollister are. Goddamn do they make some softshirts though.
But I actually live on a lake and own multiple boats, which I wear my boat shoes on. Is that not acceptable?
well, it's more acceptable, but i still wouldn't recommend it, because boat shoes look like anus
hollister itself is posing when it comes to "that beach lifestyle"

My vote goes out for Chukkas or other boots. Comes off casual, more unique than sneakers. They can be very comfortable and if you get a good pair they could outlast any sneaker.
The best running shoes I've ever worn in my life are Brooks. Everything else is shit compared to Brooks. Seriously, one you go Brooks you never go back
The best running shoes I've ever worn in my life are Brooks. Everything else is shit compared to Brooks. Seriously, one you go Brooks you never go back
I don't doubt their quality, but their styling, even for a running shoe, leaves a lot to be desired. I always feel they look like generic Wal-Mart brand bargain running shoes.
Then again, they are running shoes and style shouldn't be that much of a concern, but I see them paired with denim all of the time on campus and it just doesn't usually look good.

Yea, I assumed so. I guess I should have clarified. What is the process of attaining that shape? Do I use a specific type of product? How would I get it to hold like that? Was really looking for specifics.
