Just picked these up, what color pants go with them best? I know they'd work with indigo but what about khaki, grey, or brown
just go to a store wearing those shoes and try on pants and ask urself "does this look good y/n?".
hollister itself is posing when it comes to "that beach lifestyle"
ive heard filson stuff is very generously cut though. could u tell us how the fit on urs is when u get it?
[editline]14th October 2013[/editline]

first i'd say ditch the bracelets. if you still want something on your wrist id recommend getting a nice looking watch.
also i'd look up some hairstyles and get a pic of one you like then get a haircut with that in mind.
couldn't really judge what else you're wearing without a full body shot but i dont really see any problems with that shirt.
go here. its pretty good for basic fashion advice.
Advice for haircut, I'm 19 and my fucikng hairline is receeding already, used to be able to rock a crew cut or faux hawk but not anymore, what do I do about this shit.
Nobody will mourn either of those haircuts, it's alright

yall should try it its very convenient
[editline]13th October 2013[/editline]
you might be less uncomfortable than you had imagined :)
What a thrill ride it must be to dress boring 110% of the time
friend of mine had short-hair and started balding. It got more noticeable after a while, so he buzzed everything off. I dont think that was the best move, so dont do that

stop wearing bracelets (or stop cutting yourself if you're wearing them to cover that up, I've seen people do that) and get a well overdue hair cut
[editline]14th October 2013[/editline]
lmao everyone wears shoes like that casually, everyone from 16 year olds to 20-something hipsters to people in their 40's and beyond. i rarely wear any other shoe than my Air Max's, Roshe's or New Balances when I go out now
i'll just put this down to a difference in opinion again then, i personally am not a fan of ~streetwear~ as i'm not in school/college anymore (I can't go to work in a 5 panel and a pair of New Balance) so i'll just not bother giving my opinion on it in here again
They're... not running shoes. Running in them would be a terrible (and painful) idea, as they are meant to be casual shoes.
Now does anyone who's actually educated want to give me their opinion on what to wear with the burgundy (team red) roshe runs?
They are running shoes..
Just wear indigo wash jeans with them, though most jeans will be fine, not a big deal

this is dumb
running shoes so ugly learn from europe us
running shoes are hands down, without a dang doubt, the single ugliest things you can put on your feet. dont think i will ever look at them and understand how some people see the same thing and go 'so beautiful'

crocs
running shoes so ugly learn from europe us
i beg to differ, I live in Munich and I see some people wear some NBs and all that and look pretty good.
Sometimes with some slacks and shirt or whatever, but I think they look good
i want the filson levis jacket
Sadly it's gone forever. They introduced the jacket I'm getting as the replacement. I emailed their customer support about that actually, and that's what they said.

Yeah I'm up in the air about what fit to go with, I'm a medium in most, but being tall and broad shouldered things get a little tight and short and so I was thinking about the large. I think I'll order the medium first though.

boots and converse tho...
i understand the hate for converse (i dont think they're that bad but i understand people who do), but whats wrong with boots?
running shoes are hands down, without a dang doubt, the single ugliest things you can put on your feet. dont think i will ever look at them and understand how some people see the same thing and go 'so beautiful'
ur so open minded rusty <3
i understand the hate for converse (i dont think they're that bad but i understand people who do), but whats wrong with boots?
One thing you can say about converse chuck taylors allstars is they have stood the test of time, being a shoe that's been in production since 1917, that's 96 years. They have sense of a classic and originality because of that, in my opinion at least. They are not a 'trend of the year' kind of shoe style. They may go in and out of style over the years, but overall they stay relevant, which is hard to say about most shoes.
And boots, nothing is wrong with boots.
ur so open minded rusty <3
He's right though, there's literally no reason to wear running shoes unless you're running
[editline]14th October 2013[/editline]
i mean yeah rusty is rusty but come on, running shoes
I don't doubt their quality, but their styling, even for a running shoe, leaves a lot to be desired. I always feel they look like generic Wal-Mart brand bargain running shoes.
Then again, they are running shoes and style shouldn't be that much of a concern, but I see them paired with denim all of the time on campus and it just doesn't usually look good.
Well, I actually like how they look, and I generally wear running shoes most of the day. But since everyone else hates them apparently I think a better comparison is needed. When you pick out hiking boots, you sure as hell aren't going to get the ones you think look nice, you're going to get the ones that are the most comfortable for you and your feet. That's why I don't agree with a lot of what this thread says. I'm more of a practical/utility-minded person, with aesthetics as a secondary trait. But still there are running shoes that are a lot uglier than Brooks

I think roshes are cool looking for running shoes.
Lots people wear Vans and Converse, which were both originally meant for skating in, that doesn't mean other people can't wear them. I wear Old Skools because they're good to skate, others wear them just because they like them.
If you like the look of something, wear it.

no need to wear tennis shoes unless you are playing tennis
