If I saw someone wearing driving gloves seriously I'd be bothered
If I saw someone wearing driving gloves seriously I'd be bothered
but but Drive... ryan gosling... real human being... [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline]
how cold are we talking? you could just put your hands in your pockets and not look nerdy
what? wearing gloves isn't nerdy. i usually wear gloves when it's below 5 degrees.
is that freezing in celcus or whatever you use? if you wear gloves in above freezing temperatures you probably also wear a trench coat and cargo shorts
You're going a bit far with all this. Gloves are not nerdy, that's like calling a hat nerdy. You wear them when you feel it is cold enough out to warrant them, and cold is subjective. I wore gloves today and it was 34 degrees. Because, like many people, I actually have to work in the cold, and commute on a bicycle. Even if I was not commuting on a bicycle, driving in a cold truck with a cold steering wheel is an unpleasant experience easily fixed by wearing a simple pair of gloves.
Freezing in Celsius is 0. 5C is... 41F. Still pretty dang cold. Especially if there's a wind chill.

most gloves look bad, but go ahead and wear them if you feel cold though, its one of those comfort > fashion situations depending on how cold it is

ive never ever seen one of those
What if you're driving a car without a heater?
all cars have a heater not all cars have an air conditioner all a heater is is a fan blowing hot air from the engine
Yeah... I'm inclined to disagree with you. Having grown up with a Tennessee Redneck half of the family, I've ridden in many a car that doesn't have a heater.
wtf what car doesn't have a heater there is literally nothing to it i have to close the vents when i get on the freeway, because even with the fan off, the vents blow really hot air
wtf what car doesn't have a heater there is literally nothing to it i have to close the vents when i get on the freeway, because even with the fan off, the vents blow really hot air
Heaters can break, blower fans or temperature sensors can go out.
wtf what car doesn't have a heater there is literally nothing to it i have to close the vents when i get on the freeway, because even with the fan off, the vents blow really hot air
They're not just a straight pipe from the engine... If they were, you wouldn't be able to regulate the temperature. But I take it you've never worked on a car, or at least a heater, so I can't expect you to know all this.
this argument is retarded if you cant get a heater, kill you're self [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline] this went from a conversation about gloves to a argument about some "what if" beat to shit car uh uh uh get a cigarette lighter powered heater 'oh but what if your car has no cigarette lighter, what then huh?' i don't know what to tell you, all cars have heaters, most cars have working heaters (User was banned for this post ("threadshitting" - Megafan))

Which, I guess, you've been doing all along.
but really though, what do you want me to say? "if your car is stuck with the air condition on or all of your vents are sealed shut, by all means, buy gloves"
imo leather gloves are formal wear just like fedoras
This is a surprisingly catty section. I think it'd be a more enjoyable and friendly place if everyone just loosened up a bit.
fuck you
why should you get it nice one thing i love about this thread is that everyone is an asshole
i wear gloves when it's cold, like normal people...
only if they're wooly gloves and it's snowing or if you have bad circulation.
only if they're wooly gloves and it's snowing or if you have bad circulation.
imo leather gloves with nice lining are way more comfortable than wooly ones. but leather gloves almost always look bad so it's just a matter of comfort really
You guys should try this app called Glassescom if you want to try out glasses without going to the store. Fucking looks real at first glance. I couldn't tell it wasn't real glasses when my brother showed it to me [t]http://i.imgur.com/4KT1LQg.jpg[/t]
This is a surprisingly catty section. I think it'd be a more enjoyable and friendly place if everyone just loosened up a bit.
It's fashion. It attracts catty people... And, surprisingly, you... For some reason.

And that coat is just stylish where ever I go in it. Of course I only wear it during the winter season when it's cold. How auto correct changes winter season to writer teasing, I'll never understand.
pics yo
in spite of what this thread says, i think if you're wearing formal clothes a trench coat can look perfectly fine as long as it is of the right style (i.e. not black leather accompanied by long dark oily hair and a dirty pube beard)
I also got this faux leather jacket from TJ max that's actually really nice and works well with leather gloves, and that I tend to use all the time at work or during early hours of the mornings. [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline]
pics yo
I was only semi serious about it, leather gloves and German great coat fits well, but some people might get ideas in their head. But it really is comfortable for cold weather and Germany really did have a nice fashion for their soldiers in ww2.
So what's the concesus on an ivy league crew cut? I think my hairline is receding a little so I'm wary on what I should get.
